  1. Line of sight to what? The ball? No, De Gea could see the ball.
  2. He's not "clearly obstructing" De Gea's line of vision, as De Gea reacts to the initial shot.
  3. What do the rules say? De Gea wasn't distracted by him--he was moving to his right to stop the shot, so he could see it coming. It deflected off Maguire and he wasn't getting back to it regardless of whether Siggurdson was there or not.
  4. United looked like they came out after the half playing for the draw. Other than the one brief flurry, they created nothing in the 45 minutes. Against Everton. Useless cunts. Wolves win, and deserved it, from what I could see on my phone.
  5. What's slab-head bitching about? The Everton player sitting on the deck?
  6. Pickford with a great save. Good--keep papering over the cracks.
  7. Dug out the hockey pads and the goalie mask, already own a few guns. Unfortunately, everyone in town has the same shit as me (including many of the women). Could be an interesting couple of weeks sorting out the new pecking order.
  8. Bournemouth equalize vs Chelsea. Makes me a bit sick to want the Chavs to win to forestall United getting fourth. Cunts the lot of them. And now Bournemouth take the lead. FFS.
  9. I'm guessing not. If this does get bad, I'm pretty sure he'll be blaming the entire thing on the Chinese (and the Democrats/Obama, of course).
  10. Some positives in this article: 'They have changed the course of this outbreak:' Revelations from handling of coronavirus in China All based on the accuracy of China's information, and tentative in any case.
  11. Be a shame to see Norwich go down. At least they try to play the game.
  12. He's like an old man losing a fist fight.
  13. Rewatched it in anticipation of the new season and, as good as it is, it dropped off a bit for me with Chuck's death. A brilliant character and an equally brilliant performance. But they've done a great job with all the stories, and I like the new Salamanca--he's another unique character in a show full of them. I agree about that scene with Mike, though. Hopefully it's a one-off.
  14. "Snowfall" Thanks for the recommendation. Halfway through the first season, and though the dialogue is a little strained in places, I'm enjoying the story. And it's a pretty important story, historically, to boot.
  15. Trump pulled his troops out of northern Syria to let Turkey have it's way. I don't think he has much leverage now. Hopefully it's just a game of chicken, and they'll reach some sort of deal on how they're going to split up the territory without war.
  16. Turkish official says 33 soldiers killed in airstrike by Syrian government forces Tick tick tick...
  17. I was wondering about that last night (having just finished "The Big Short"): who has shorted (parts of) the market, and what have they used as the vehicle? In that book it was insurance against parts of the bond market. But I don't know what you'd buy to short the entire market.
  18. A well-oiled machine (as opposed to an oil-welled machine).
  19. Sat here at a loss for words, Bob. I can only join Stig in hoping the news is good on Tuesday.
  20. "I could see there was trouble brewing." Unidentified bystander.
  21. Loving this ref in Lyon. Juventus have spent the entire matching diving, as they always do, and he just isn't buying it. As much as I like Sarri, his team is a collection of 100 carrot cunts.
  22. Red for Ramos. Well, if it had to happen to someone....
