    not a big fan of steve bruce, but about 15 years ago, maybe more or less, a pub i used to frequent in stockport were doing a charity fun/run day,on a sunday, and steve bruce was asked to present various awards and agreed to turn up.. on the day, we spoke to him as normal and he told us, taggart ordered him not to come to our do cos they were playing the following wednesday... bruce told him if he couldnt come to our do , he would be "injured" for their next game... he turned up... say no more... taggart a humanitarian??? MY ARSE...
