I feel this is going to be an interesting summer. I can see us doing some good deals for long and short term gain. I can see some very interesting players coming in and some going out that will raise some eyebrows. I don't have any basis for this, just a gut feeling. They seem to want to change our transfer policy and you cant make an omelette without breaking some eggs. What are you guys thoughts on who we should bring in? Id like to see Mata and or Turan. Two great players, both on the young side, and lets face it, we could still do with some real width. There has been some talk about strikers too, Bojan was a name i read a few times, cant see it myself but, that for me, would be an amazing signing. I think we need to steer clear of players like Benzema or Higuain, not that i could see it happening anyway but, having just paid 35m for Carroll i could see us having our pants pulled down to get either of these too. Could be wrong, but i think we need to stick to younger and some what unproved players, take a bit of a gamble (after decent scouting of course) and fingers crossed it pays off. Ie. Wickham or lukaku (although i read somewhere he already has a deal done.) Thoughts?

I must admit whenever its on tele, the fans always look really bored, or distracted and are all just gabbing and not watching the field. We played it a bit in school, fun game to play, but i can imagine its awful to watch (never watched a whole match) Still, having said that, the yanks seem to like it... Each to their own. They must think the same about us and cricket.

Yeah, i share the same view point on all this. They have always been seen to have a good working relationship. They respect each others roles and view points and so far, (yes its only in 1 window) they seem to be managing just fine together. This is just another no mark daily fail none starter story mate. Really wouldn't worry about a power struggle. Besides, power struggle? Really? I cant see there being a power struggle even if this story was true. Kenny or Comolli? hhhmmm tough one. Furthermore, Comolli left his last two clubs because he couldn't work with the manager and didn't feel it was right to stay, why would he then choose to do the exact opposite here and not only stay, but start a power battle with the King? He strikes me as having more intelligence than that. Just how i see it though.

Hahaha thats funny. Worked out well all round then, FT gets used to losing with and squad of old folk whilst he sits in the stands of on bench (if lucky) and win fuck all! AHAHA And Mancs are forced to tire their best players before playing us and we have a good few days rest after playing sparta at home... Im happy with that :)

Never say never and all that but it will be tough. Have we left it too late? Who knows? But one thing is for sure. It certainly looks a lot more likely than it did a few weeks ago.

A mate of mine asked me a question that got me thinking. So im going to ask you lot the same question... Have you ever met/seen a Chelsea fan that isnt a first class prat? ... After a few minutes of going through all the CFC fans i have met, my answer was, nope.

Hit and miss mate. They are sometimes good for inside news. They are 9/10 good for team lineups early and have been for a while. Good for injury and training news.
