  1. 100% correct. Not that it makes either of us feel good. Never a Liverpool manager, and never worthy of empyting the trash at Anfield either. Reckless appointment made by footballing fools. Any yet those same cretins who have backed this nightmare feel it is right and proper to have a go at Torres for not bringing his step ladder with him so that he might get near to the shite being launched up at him and Ngog? Roy would make a WW2 field marshall blush with shame at the shit cunting artillery style of "play" we use. And whats worse is that he has forced Pepe into having no options but to stick his boot through it all times. All the hard work to get rid of the cunts and we are falling away faster than ever. Fuck of Roy.
  2. Was due to fly to Vancouver from Heathrow on Friday with the wife and kids. Youngest daughters 4th birthday is today and we were having a surprise 20th anniversary party for my sister and brother-in-law on Christmas eve. We'd checked in and were stuck on the tarmac for 3 hours before they turfed us off the cunting jet. There were no airline staff or BAA staff anywhere to advise on what was going on. This was at 7:30PM. There was one mum traveling alone with a 7 month old baby and no fucker gave them a hand or anything until me and my wife stepped in. We collectively spent the next 4 hours keeping the baby and my youngest warm and trying to work out what the fuck was going on. Eventually at just after 11:30 they announced we all had to leave the airport. The lass with the baby had come down from Harrogate and there were no hotel rooms or taxis to be had. I loaded us all into our car and took her home with us to Leicester. I managed to get her home late on Saturday evening. BA and BAA were fucking shit and are fucking shit. Had they told everyone to fuck off straight away we would have but no they just decide to empty 40 odd aircraft into the various terminals to make an already big shit-storm worse. Useless cunts.
  3. Never wanted him here as his record showed he was not what we needed. Originally I thought he was harmless enough as a person but the event that changed it for me was when he called the fans "those people" when we were striving to get shut of the cunts with the match-day protests. The condescending tone and absolute lack of understanding did it for me. From there on in he has been a one man wrecking ball for our hopes this season with a combination of his anachronistic tactics and the voluminous amount of bile, defeatism and shite coming out of his vile grid. We would be better off with a cardboard cut-out of him for match days since he does fuck all useful in the dugout.
  4. That's not right is it? Looking back both of Rafa's 80+ point seasons gave a better return. If you are saying that he has the best return per game of anyone you would consider as a temp' until FSG get the long term choice nailed down then I agree.
  5. Agree 100%. Any views on his lack of pace? Is he unwilling to let rip or has it gone?
  6. Agree. You can see Lucas is thinking of getting into the vacant CB slot and then realises that its his space in the shape that Carrol is in and then try to close it down.
  7. I wonder if the lack of apparent effort is in response to being told one thing in the summer by Purslow and then another happening? I don't recall the exact chronology of ending up with Mr 35yrs experience and if Cecil had had words after rafa got sacked and before we were blessed with our current manager.
  8. So...has he lost his pace? Is it all in his head that if he really opens the throttle then he will pick up another injury or is he not trying as hard because he can't be bothered? There were a couple of pieces of play where in the past he would have left people for dead but he did not.
  9. All over the park we were second to the ball. There's no energy in our "performances" away from home. Gave the ball away loads and did not double up on Carroll when the long ball came in. We never went after Sol either which was criminal. Some brief flashes of good passing but a mountain of shit in general. We got bullied and we were never in Tiote's face since he took the ball down loads and just fucking strolled about picking out passes. I hate the narrow two banks of 4 bullshit we deploy. Were is the pressure on the man and the angles of distribution? 35 years has taught him this? No wonder he has such a diabolical record and has been proven to be a no mark manager. Boots his sorry arse back down the M6.
  10. Shawcross is a fucking donkey. The only area of the game where he is better than Skrtel is in the air and even then Skrtel has made quite an improvement this year. For all of those saying that Skrtel gives away needless fouls take a look at big bad Ryan's laughable general positioning, lunging into shite challenges, and his disciplinary record. Unless of course you want to buy players to fit into the backs to the wall, hoof at all costs stuff that the shit dinosaur Roy wants us to play then sure, why not.
  11. What the debacle yesterday highlights is that you need a good manager in charge. Now that the clown Domenech has gone you see a side emerging that is making use of its assets in the right way. We have Royosaurus and his crap approach and it shows in our results. Not really rocket science is it.
  12. These cunts keep fucking talking about problems and the bastard speculators will make them come true. Self fulfilling prophesy but they won't shut up and they will take most of with them.
  13. This is what worries me the most. How the fuck can we integrate reserves and academy players if the 1st team play the narrow, deep, hoof at all fucking costs shit that we do today. The reserves on down play a totally different game to the 1st team. How does that square off to the FSG model of promoting talent from within. The longer Royosaurus stays the more time and money it will take to get back to the top 4.
  14. So its down to us being, on the whole, dog shit? Is he a player who will play well only when the team plays well? Is he not able to help pull the team forward when the rest are having a bad day? I guess he is another ok to good players and not a top class player at present. If he can show steel and drive in adversity then we have the real deal. If it takes a couple of more years to build this into his game then we need to be patient or extend his contract and sell.
  15. Cristian Ansaldi is a good shout. He looks to be the real deal as far as full backs go. Kind of reminds me of Bob in that he is strong defensively and useful in attack. His pace looks good as well. Not so good in the air from what I have seen but you can improve this aspect over time.
  16. As soon as we appointed this manager was when I got very worried. It was like listening to the Jaws music and I knew we were going to struggle massively. It just wasn't safe to get back into the water imho and low and behold...
  17. What I don't understand is how come he plays so well for Brazil in the same role as we want to use him in but that he struggles for us. I know its not an apples vs apples comparison but he is 1st choice for them and in the game against Chelsea and Bolton you could see why. In the last two games he has been poor but that is true of all of the team. Is it just that he has more movement and options ahead of him and that they defend less in general than we are having to do?
  18. Don't agree with "he can never have too much power" line. This is crazy and does not lead to healthy decision making. What if he fucks up big decisions? He's one person who's views and opinions should be included in the mix in a wider debate before decisions are made. Not the fucking be-all and end-all. I don't like the way he rants on the pitch and I certainly don't like and have never liked his non-defensive contributions but he has been and still is a big player for us when the chips are down. He was one of the top CB's a few years ago but time waits for no one and we need to get him into the coaching set-up soon to see what he can offer. At some point soon, probably towards the end of this season if we are just treading water in mid-table, we will need to drop him from being a starter and go with a new CB pairing (Kelly and Skrtel for me from whats available and assuming Agger is stuck on the treatment table as usual). Change is coming no matter that we may not like it.
  19. 100% agree. With the size of our own problems why do we need to go looking into some other clubs back yard for more?
  20. I know you need to stand up for your views but at some point we need to draw a line in the sand under all of this. Not sure ho we do this mind so open for suggestions.
  21. Fucking bad eye-aids this thread. I know people are angry and upset with where the club are but this thread is absurd imho. We have to get past this and find some common ground to have a truce or, at best, a temporary cessation of hostilities. I want us to be more the collective we used to be than we have been in the last two seasons. For me that means getting shot of Roy as fast as possible. New manager or Kenny and then lets deal with the team and performances.
  22. Have to admit I avoided the FF for several weeks after the end of the season. Some good ideas in this and I would have agreed to it. I think the line of succession is even more important now we have Comolli than before. We need to build a club football ethos and make sure we adapt as needed but have the continuity to promote our own talent as and when it is merited both on the pitch and in the coaching. I definitely do not want to see the early signs of improvement at the academy and reserves level extinguished unless it is clearly shown that we need to go in another direction for long term success.
