    Completed. I would like to know more on corruption in football but feel it is widely glossed over by people who have too much to lose. That is not just those who have a financial stake in it, but also us fans who have an emotional stake in it who feel it enriches our lives. In other words, If the arse fell out of football we would be bored shitless. I read the book on Fifa corruption and Sepp Blatter a few years ago and realised the people at the very top of the game only get away with it due to the appathetic supporters who can't really be arsed reading about it aslong as their team wins. Well our team isn't winning much these days and there is a reason other teams are.

    I am unsure either way but to say we should aim higher kind of ignores the fact that we have. Getting players that have been snapped up by top teams but 'it hasn't worked out' seems to be our best bet at the moment. Also Rodgers will have contacts at Stamford Bridge and possibly Wigan, indirectly due to a lot of business taking place between them and Swansea. He may have asked Martinez for his opinion on the player. And besides, a loan deal is fairly risk free.

    at the moment we have Palace, Southampton, West Brom on the offal ticket info all saying TBC for a general sale. Can anyone advise how long before a game they usually put on this 'general sale' they speak of? Much obliged ya. also if anyone's got a spare, let's play.

    well tight arse, I have been looking at Liverpool Soccer Jersey & T Shirt | English Premier League Jersey - Soccer Jersey Shirt recently, although haven't ordered off it yet, so I can not advise on the reliability or quality. Someone on Yahoo answers said it was good but shipping was about a month. Other shirts are available.

    yeah that's about £1million more than we are thought to have paid for each, I think the website operates in Euros and that was the exchange rate at time of press. Still not a huge difference.

We have a plus £3.5 million so far this window admittedly, but it's tough when we are not in the cl, and spurs always offer more cos they see us as a threat. There is still nearly 2 weeks left, I don't buy the propaganda theory. I fucking hope not after shelling out for a season ticket.

I wasn't aware YaYa had a trial at Arsenal, which he failed. Hahaha. Must be reassuring to know they can spot potential. Declined on him because of his smallness, look at the size of him now.     At least he's passionate, probably stands out a mile at The Emirates. Booing a player after they made a mistake is fucking appalling. I honestly don't think I have ever witnessed that at Anfield no matter how bad things got. Yes we have booed at half time (Houllier's last season) and full time, sadly, when emotions are running high. I have done it myself and regretted it afterwards. Apart from booing Kewell off at the Attaturk I don't think I have ever booed a Liverpool player.

    Many said the atmosphere at Anfield had declined already before the kop was made all seater. With the exception of the big matches and European ones it was pretty piss poor in the early 90’s. As someone who only started going in the early 90s and standing on the kop from about 1992, (incidently the year we became shit and our worse season for about 30 years, ) Sheffield united at home, mark Walters scored I think, and Paul Stewart...um anyway, I don't have experience before that to say definitively. There's loads of reasons why it's got shitter , all have been discussed at legnth on these boards already mate, do a google search for the threads. I do 'participate in a form of chant culture’, or as its known non academically 'chant'. I support this club because of Thomas Cooke, they have the best offers compared to others in the epl, and I can't get tix at old trafford.

    when i log on to see discussions about football matters I am put off by the majority of posts calling Code72 a cunt and what not. This is entirely boring and makes me avoid a once great forum for about a week or two. I would imagine I am not the only one. Ruined this place.
