    If I remember correctly, it was agreed before the final that the teams would do a joint homecoming regardless of the result I think Everton fancied themselves in the final.... they were wrong!

    I remember when I was 8, (I know old bastard) going to see the lads bring the FA cup home in '74, I was stanging on Queens drive and the team bus stopped about 10 yards from me and Alec Lindsay fell down the stairs, got off and ran to the house I was stood outside, banged on the door and asked to go for a piss, when he went in about another 6 players went in after him. If I owned the house I'd have put up a plaque!

    I think this is a good time to be playing City, before they have time to bed in all of their new players, I hink we'll come away with a hard fought 3 points on Monday.

    I don't think it's too early to comment on our style of play. We played two holding midfielders again at home against a team we should have scored 3 or 4 against. It was just like all of last seasons frustrating home games all over again. Babel took his goal well but did nothing else. Cole, as mentioned above needs time to get used to his new position (is it just me or does he look taller than he used to in the Chelsea kit?). Terrible penalty too. Poulsen - no comment yet as it was like a pre-season game for him. Jovo - I like his attitude but he has the running style of Ronnie Rosenthal. Maxi - struggled to get involved Nice to see the Kid back too, he looked that bit sharper than on Sunday.

    I won't buy Sharp electronics, no Vodaphone contract or samsung phone, did used to buy Hitachi, got into real trouble from the missus once for getting some crown paint that was nearly but not quite the same shade as the Dulux one we'd (she'd) agreed on. I will wear blue t-shirts. I've never tried an Everton mint but I think I would be kind to a Chelsea pensioner if I ever met one!

    I tried it out with David Coverdale - it git him first time but when I went with the same character the next 2 times it failed both times.
