    You use them to access web content as though you are in that country such as to make iPlayer work when you are abroad. You can use a free one which are usually speed or data content limited or else are funded via adverts. A decent paid one is about a fiver or so a month.

    Cartoon HD keep threatening to close forever if they don't get enough retweets. Then they said they were going members only. Then they changed their mind. They are like an attention seeking teenager right now. I wouldn't sign up to anything like that with any email address that you don't mind being spammed as they probably sell them on. The Cartoon HD addon for XBMC is quite good.

    Where I live now I do not know anybody that has had their house broken into or been mugged on the street. On the downside the coffeeshops round here shut at 10 o'clock. You can get weed in Toxteth much later although the selection is not as good.

    Not sure anyone is saying we are alone in the universe. I am certainly not. The probability of other life is near enough 100%. The chances of us ever meeting any or even knowing for sure is near enough 0%.
