1. Kenny's interview is up on Skysports too now Dalglish - We can play better | Sky Sports | Video | Latest Videos
2. Kenny Dalglish has confirmed that Raul Meireles was taken off in the 2nd half of today's 1-1 draw against Wigan because of sickness. The boss also provided an update relating to Daniel Agger and Steven Gerrard who were both missing today. Dalglish said: "Agger has an Adductor problem. He should be alright, he's not too bad. Both he and Steven will be days rather than weeks. "Obviously we've got the Europa League on Thursday, whether they are fit for that, we'll just have to wait and see. We've not got a game after that until the following Thursday so we'll see how they are and go from there." Asked why Meireles may have gone down with something, Dalglish added: "Well it's not the cooking at Melwood. "It's just a bug. There's a bit of a virus floating about and he's been unfortunate to catch hold of it. "It was just sickness. During the first half he didn't feel too clever. He spewed up at half-time. He tried to play on but I don't think it was fair to ask him to." Also his post match interview is up on the BBC too now BBC Sport - Football - Liverpool 1-1 Wigan
3. I like pie. Roy would plant you an orchard alright and then burn it to the ground and tell you that in his 35 years of orchard management he's never seen the like and he definitely knows it's no fault of his but all the fault of the trees for being so fucking flammable.
4. Good interview with Steve Clarke from the offal
5. I believe that's my cue Also to everything that JohnnyH said let me just say +1 Oh and he's also great at interviews - for example... Small Talk: Would it be overstepping the mark to ask what colour underpants you're sporting today? Kenny Dalglish: Fucking hell! [sounds more surprised than offended] Black. Black boxer shorts. Small Talk: Did you just have a rummage, to be sure? Kenny Dalglish: No, I didn't need to. I put them on. Three weeks ago, mind [laughs heartily]. They were white back then though [chuckles on].
6. None of these quotes are reported in the spanish media. Pepe was on Onda Cero with Fernando Torres. He talked about how people should understand why Fernando left and how he scored a lot of good goals and played good football over the last 3.5 seasons and people should understand his decision to move on because people come and go in football. They both talked about how they are good friends. I listened to a clip from the show here Reina: "No está siendo fácil para Torres, pero lo disimula" They are not suggesting in Spain that he has said anything to imply he will leave or that shows a lack of committment. So really nothing much to this as far as I can tell from a quick google of the spanish media
7. I would take this story with a pinch of salt. These stories always come out when the spanish players go on International duty. There is nothing the english tabloids like more than quotes translated from a foreign language. They know the majority of the readership can't check the accuracy and they know any errors (also known as willful misrepresentation) can be passed off as a translation error. These stories are always bollocks the players never turn out to have said what is quoted at all.
8. There's something very endearing about Kenny munching on his coat. I think he kicks every ball.
9. Ok thanks. She must have taken it down as I've read her twitter and there wasn't any mention of that. She is hillarious though - comments like "I know you all think the sun shines out of Kennys bottom but I have to disappoint you it does smell!" made me chuckle! We might have thought the sun shone out of bottom before but now we think he walks on water as well!
10. [slides out from under rock] what did she say? I missed that.
11. Ah please for the love of god and all that is holy let's not make this Kenny vs Rafa. Neither man would want or deserves it. Rafa is no longer at the club, let's respect the good things he did and draw a line under it. Kenny is here now and let's support him end of. And beans make you fart people. Seriously. Down with beans. Have mushrooms if you must have something from the vegetable family with your fry-up although plain old bacon and eggs works for me.
12. Well just try not to say his name when you're shagging cos then you'll really be in trouble ;)
13. Actually Kenny was asked about what formation he was using after the match and explained it was a 1-10
14. Yep. That was the gist of it. "If the fans like myself it's not half as much as I like them" He says it in the Sky interview - that I linked to above. You don't need to stop talking about him. It's ok we've all got Kenny fever too
15. Kenny coy on top-four talk | Sky Sports | Liverpool News | Football | Premier League This is the only one I saw - was there another?
16. Apologies if it's already posted I couldn't see it, this is the interview
17. I wanted to post this for anyone who has not seen it. I've been watching a lot of documentaries in the last month about Liverpool and this one from the Great Managers Series about Kenny Dalglish is one of the best. This is a great watch. The doco shows Kenny at his first press conference, after he signed for Liverpool for what was a record breaking fee back then, being asked by a reporter, "are you worth all that money?" just as Andy Carroll was this week. He answered, "I didnae pay it, I dunno". He was more than worth it as it turned out. Let's hope Andy Carroll is such a bargain.
18. Definitely not talking shite here! An excellent, well thought out, well written pice. Really enjoyed it. Agree with every word. Gotta admit I love seeing the cat set among the tactical pigeons
19. Morse runs a pretty fair system where everybody votes across quite a few different sites after every single game, and points are allocated to determine who the best players are overall. At this stage Gerrard is first. Raul is second and Pepe third. http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/ff-football-forum/93565-2010-11-player-season-game.html
20. Interview with Martin Kelly after the Stoke Match talks a bit about the next match against Chelsea
21. This is crying out for a caption... could make an interesting banner option
22. That's awesome it's a pity it doesn't have the king in there but it still gets my vote!
23. Let me preface by saying having watched the video of Rafa's comments I don't think he was actively trying to undermine Kenny at all. However, it is a different thing to imply Kenny would have made or has made similar comments. Kenny put his hat in the ring last Summer when the Manager's job WAS vacant. It was in the press and a matter of public record. Later he talked about it in his book but everyone, including Roy already knew Dalglish had put his hand up. It's completely different. Rafa has not made these comments with the role vacant and is not talking about something he said in the public domain when it was. It's a non-story though anyway.
