  1. Am I allowed to answer these questions? Why haven't you answered mine?
  2. You're such an utter gimp. You criticise people for checking their CP but don't mind using the whole system yourself. Why rep or neg people if you don't want them to check it? I reckon I've had more questions than statements from you in negs. I honestly don't know what you're after otherwise. You could just as easily neg me with no message and respond in the thread. You talk about spamming inboxes but I have at least as many actual PM's off you as I have sent to you because you can't help yourself but respond to every single one. If you really didn't want a response why do you keep responding to me? All in all I think I do really wind you up. If it was any other worthy poster I would probably go out my way not to and make the effort to not respond but you are easily the biggest dickhead on here. Despite the majority of the site telling you on a consistent basis you still seem to remain completely oblivious to it. This site quite clearly is your whole life so I feel quite sorry for you. It's easily the best for footy discussion amongst the Liverpool boards and is funny a lot of the time but you seem to have absolutely no life away from it.
  3. We've been over his before you boring, boring cunt. If you send me a private message expect to get one back. If you respond in the thread I will respond in the thread. It's easy really. Difficult for such an epic idiot as yourself though. I doubt anyone wants to read an argument between yourself and me let alone me posting one off responses which nobody can see what it is in response to.
  4. Absolute car crash of a post. You've been baffled by his team selections? Really? When exactly? By and large he has played his strongest team game in game out. He's picked the big names as any manager would and picked the rest of the team on form. You fucking stupid lying cunt. You've also had to look away when he's interviewed? Is that when he remains reserved, never loses his cool, by and large is nearly always positive and whilst doing all this actually answers the questions put to him? You must of been hiding behind the couch when you seen Rafa's face go as red as Liverpool shirt (despite him thinking he was getting away with it) after he was asked questions about his laughable errors and decisions over the years. You literally must have been driving the off a cliff when you seen the king getting riled with the most basic positive questions getting put to him. I honestly don't know what fucking cretins like you are seeing with eyes in those ever so fucking thick skulls you have. When it comes to the transfer market you have no faith in him? The less said about the previous 3 managers records the better but you are actually having a go at him not signing Sneijder? Are you for real seriously? Why were no other clubs touching him a barge pole? He's a fucking massive risk and even not on the wages he's getting now he would still have been one of our highest earners. Maybe the club learnt a lesson after the joe cole situation and you should do as well. I actually can't believe how stupid you are. People say we can't get a top manager because we CAN'T GET A TOP MANAGER you divvy. If you think Guardiola would have come here you are fucking mental. By the rest of your post it's no surprise. This Capello thing is also fucking laughable. The guy is the biggest con man in football. If you think he would get us back in the big time and is a long term option which is what we need then you need your head checking. Ultimately he won't be judged by the Anfield faithful either. He will be judged by the board and nobody has a fucking clue what their view is on it. So when the various gimps on here are predicting he will be sacked I honestly don't know where they are getting it from because they have no idea how the board are judging it. Attendances won't drop. We are oversubscribed in a small stadium. Thousands waiting on season ticket waiting lists. I doubt the amount of money taken on match days would change even if we were relegated. I don't know when the last time you actually went the match but every game I've been for over a decade people start walking out usually around the 82 mark. By 85 a 3rd of the ground are gone. It's the attitude of these bell ends that makes the match less and less of the experience it was. I actually wonder why they even go. Anyway I don't see how fans walking out on 85 will ever effect the boards view on the manager. Just another fucking useless point in this joke of a post. On a separate note to the whole of this I've noticed this "Get a manager in who can get results" shit which has started creeping in from a few people. Somehow as if this bears no relation to the standard of performance a team puts out. We've spent over a decade playing this anything for the result football and it led us down the negative gameplay root. We had no overall gameplan or style of play. We defended and relied on a very small number of players to pull it out the bag with some magic. This is no way to progress and hope to win the league. If you look at the top teams over the past 20 years who have dominated and won the league consistently, they are always the teams that impose their game on other teams no matter who they play. I can't understand why some people actually want Liverpool to be a team that just attempts to grind out a result every time they enter the field (read the fucking next sentence before cutting this sole comment out and trying to be funny and failing miserably). We have seen over a long period of time trying to be a team that just grinds out results doesn't work. You come unstuck you draw too many games because you are too negative. The great teams occasionally have to do this when things aren't going their way. Man Utd always have a knack of doing it but it's not their original intention and it shouldn't ours. If we consistently play well the results will become more and more consistent. The performances have got more consistent under Rodgers and the results are slowly following. The fucking whinging on here is reaching epic proportions. God knows the size of the gold mine of comments there will be to bring up if Rodgers is kept on next year because I have no doubt we will improve season on season with him in charge.
  5. I don't even know why I am responding to this. Have you got the IQ of a small child? Why does he stay there? I don't know. Why don't you ask him? He obviously loves the club and sees it as his life's work but I have no idea why he hasn't done what a lot of the players he has signed over the years and jumped ship to City or something. Maybe he has a different outlook on life. All in all I have no fucking clue what point you are trying to make. I said if they got rid of Wenger it would benefit us. I don't know if you noticed or not but we haven't been in the champions league for a few years now. Strangely enough that seems to have coincided with us not signing the same standard of players we used to sign. It's weird, it's almost as if being in the champions league helps you sign a better standard of player. I am actually angry at how fucking stupid you are and how happy you appear to be remaining as fucking stupid as you are. I will try and put it as simply as I can for you. At the current moment we can't compete with United, City and Chelsea. If we want to we need to be in champions league so we can attract better players than we can now. If you are happy for Arsenal to continue to fail every year by finishing in the top four it becomes a lot harder for us to get back in the champions league. I very much doubt the blip Chelsea had last year will happen any time soon and if it does there are also plenty of other clubs to compete with if they do fall out again. The last part of your post is up there as the most stupid thing I have seen written on here. He looks like a "mercenary" for staying at one club for majority of his career when he could have taken more money at a club like Chelsea or Man City? He looks like a mercenary for not wanting to run his club into the ground and paying over the top for players to compete with Abramovich and Dubai? You are a fucking idiot.
  6. Not having a complete rant at you mate but why do people always do this? As I type out a post I just know for a fact someone will pick one line out and just respond to that, so every time I will try to overly explain everything as I did above to show what I mean. The bit you highlighted. I answered without you having to say that in my next sentence. The past couple of years people have said they wouldn't qualify for it and they have. They may not qualify next year but after qualifying every year for last 15 or whatever it is I can almost guarantee you they will be back in the year after. Wilshere has already said he wants to stay there for the rest of his career. You seem to have not read anything I wrote. He hasn't "turned young players great and moved them on" he helped them become great players and by and large kept them at the club for their peak years and then was forced to sell a lot of them because of various reasons but largely down to Man City and Chelsea making it impossible to compete. The rest of it is then all paper driven bollocks. You don't know they have 70m and you have no evidence Wenger has been given money in the past and refused it. Please don't post a skysports article with some "insider" info on. Why would Ancelotti be able to attract better players? If anyone has shown how to spend money on players it is Wenger. Why would those players go to Arsenal above Man City, United and Chelsea? They wouldn't. That's the whole point of my post. They can't compete with those clubs so they operate differently. It has worked because of Wenger. Without him they will fall by the wayside.
  7. Quite a bit of shit in this Bjornebye. When things were more on a level playing field he had them winning all sorts. Since Chelsea and Man City have come into the fold they can't compete. Simple as. Nobody can other than Man Utd. The not winning a trophy thing obviously hurts them and it also seems to be blinding their judgement a little bit. The selling their best players thing seems to be the myth that keeps biting him on the arse. He's had no fucking choice a lot of the time. Van Persie being a prime example. What does he do? keep him for a year and lose him for nothing or sell him for £20m+. It's a no-brainer as it has been with all their players who have been sold. He's hardly selling them for a laugh. As far as I see it they have two choices. Keep Wenger This will keep them eating at the top table. They will stay in the Champions League year on year potentially missing out on the odd year, although that hasn't happened yet once. They won't compete with the top 3 in terms of winning trophies. They will be in the top tier for the day when Chelsea and Man City stop what they are doing though and when Ferguson retires. This will be a great position. Sack Wenger - Hire anybody Sacking Wenger is a huge risk. It's quite similar to the United situation. The next manager pretty much has an impossible job. The two of them are the most successful attacking managers of the last 20 years. Both their clubs fans have not only become used to winning things over the years, they have become used to playing good football doing it. If anyone thinks the next manager of either club will be as attacking as either of these managers then you are mental. I don't know how you think Ancelotti etc would have them challenging more than they are. They can't compete for the big players. They're whole success is built on Wenger buying cheap young players and either turning them into world beaters or at least getting the most out of them. He's done it for a long time. How is Ancelotti going to be able to do better than Wenger at it? If they sack Wenger they are opening themselves up to falling out of the top 4 completely and not being able to get back in. It would be great for us if they got rid of Wenger because I honestly think they would fall to bits. There are so many high profile overrated managers out there they would be bound to hire one of them. It would turn into Stamford Bridge as soon as they played anything other than all out attacking football.
  8. On current form in our current squad he's a starter for me. He was absolute shite for a long time but now seems to have settled and got a bit of confidence. It shouldn't be the case that he needed time to settle because he was 27 years old, played international football for years and played in the prem for his whole career. It seems though that is exactly what happened. There's absolutely no reason to get rid of him until we have somebody better, performing consistently and possibly even somebody better than him on the bench. He's not a world beater but he does give you something different to Sterling, Coutinho and Suso. He's also probably our most two footed player after Suarez.
  9. Can you clarify to me what the "fullback system" is please? Can you also tell me what a front flanker is as well?
  10. The "full stop" button is the one with the full stop dot on it. It's on the second row by the space bar. It's not that one with arrow coming down slightly then pointing to the left.
  11. One man directly up front has always done that. It's why I couldn't stand it when Torres was there. I always felt like he has being handicapped by it and not helped by it as everyone else used to think. I didn't like the sound of it when Rodgers spoke about the 433 because nearly every time we ever played "433" in the past it was always a lie. It was 451 or 4231 or some other version of it. Basically where we only had 1 striker and 5 midfielders. This is the first time where the front 3 have been exactly that. I don't think they were necessarily given a place to hide. It's an absolute must that they need to score goals. They haven't and that's partly why we haven't got the points we should have. I agree with you that looking at it now, a few months ago we didn't have the players to play that system as the wide two are not (yet) prolific scorers. I can understand that people may want to use this to blame Rodgers. It's quite easy to counter though. There have been longer complaints that we haven't got the players to play 442 and that's just as understandable. What midfield 2 would you have picked (and with Lucas out remember)? Who would you have partnered with Suarez? With 4231 there is surely the same problems as there is with 433. You need those wide players to score and with playing 4231 there is the added pressure of getting back more. So what formation do you play? Right now we are a different animal. We can play Sturridge up front and Suarez as one of those wide forwards. It makes all the difference. I think Suarez will still get us the goals he does and we have a 15 goal a season striker in the middle. This is where my point on the formations not mattering too much comes in. If you have the players and things aren't working you can change it and try something different. If you don't have the players and it's not working a change of formation can be pointless. We have seen this over the past two games. Without Sturridge we lack balance in the team and it showed up that Suarez still really isn't an out and out striker. The comment about the full backs is a good one. When on form we have two brilliant full backs. We probably have to come to rely on them a little bit. Every team in the league has parts to it like this though.
  12. To be honest Vlad I was and probably still am to a certain extent a 442 man but since Rodgers has come in I am slowly becoming one of those people that believes the formation doesn't really matter in the long term. As long as you aren't completely gung ho but get enough men in the box when attacking and can still get the numbers back then it doesn't matter. The difference between Benitez's 4231 and the Rodgers 433 is that is that Rodgers is actually playing attacking players in the wide positions and giving them licence to get forward more. We have conceded stupid goals from individual errors there is no getting away from that. The goals from the West Brom game we conceded were simply down to trying to win the game in the later stages and taking risks and it cost us. If we went back and you asked me do we take those risks again? I would say yes because a draw is as bad as a loss in that game. Some of the extra goals we concede over the course of the season will be down to playing more attacking football and leaving more space to be counter attacked but I believe that is acceptable as long as we are getting more at the other end. We have had a long time playing negative football having the best defence in the league etc. In the long run it's proved it isn't the answer to long term success. It's also just fucking boring to watch but I understand not everyone is arsed about that. I honestly don't think a forward 3 is leaving us that exposed anyway. Leiva has been having a fucking mare the majority of the time he has been back so maybe that's why it's looked that way at times but we have been playing well using this system. It's proved in a lot of games it can work a treat. Even in the big games we have been largely unlucky.
  13. Come on Anubis read that back! The news that a world famous athlete has shot his girlfriend dead doesn't shock you because you have seen him unreasonably flip out once at the Olympics. I would be surprised if there is one person who first read this story this morning and their reaction wasn't "fuck off!" and to immediately verify that it wasn't some hoax. You're telling me that you read this story and thought "Yeah I could see that one coming"
  14. I actually thought you were joking. Come on, nobody knows all the facts here, the joking is funny but actually saying it's no surprise he shot his girlfriend in the head because he flipped out once at the Olympics is a bit ridiculous.
  15. Haha he acted like a bit of a knob at the Olympics so it's no surprise he's shot his girlfriend in the head.
  16. I honestly don't know how you got through answering all that but fairplay. A couple months ago I would have bothered to have a go myself but there literally is no point. The guy is a fucking cunt. Rodgers could do all things code wants him to do and if it didn't bring the results then it would be because Rodgers is an idiot etc. The smooth talker comment is just a highlight of the nonsense he chats. The "good game" that Rodgers is being accused of talking is exactly the thing we see on the pitch. He "preaches" about keeping possession and that is exactly what we do whether you agree with it or not, it's a fact.
  17. Just a few points on this. You seem to contradict yourself a little bit with your first two paragraphs but I think I get what you are saying. I definitely agree with that first bit about time judging people. In quite a few circumstances it is definitely possible to judge a manager very quickly. Eg if a manager spent a lot of money on experienced players and massively failed a season in whereas in other circumstances a manager may spend on young players and need time to phase older players out. For all we know Rodgers is on a tighter leash. Your analogy falls down a bit because who is keeping the younger inexperienced promoted CEO in line? Somebody more experienced? Why aren't they the CEO? What do people mean when they say tighter leash? John Henry telling Rodgers his substitutions or starting line up were wrong or that he's not allowed to sign someone? At the end of the day managers in this country are only successful in the long term if they can sign players they want and they can pick and choose how they want to play them. If the results are good then it's an easy decision. If they aren't then it's down to the owners to make a judgement call on whether that's the managers fault or if it's luck and other factors working against him. The last bit I can understand as well. It's obviously opinion and somehow it's just deep down in your gut you have a feeling it's not right and nobody will be able to change that. The thing about the epic performances in games we were expecting to lose though is something that irks me. In all the time under those managers we did have some great results. They almost always felt like performances we actually shouldn't have won. We did a West Brom. We sat back and accepted that we had an inferior side. We defended resolutely and took our luck when it fell to us. Unfortunately our luck ran out in the end. Under Rodgers we haven't had the results but we have had the performances. For the first time in over a decade we have stood up and said we are good enough to be on the pitch with these teams and are trying to outplay them. On more occasions than not we are doing it but the luck is still not there. I know it's easier said than done but if we hadn't made the individual errors this season that we have and had the referees on our side we would be in the top 4 and we would be saying how brilliant he is. These are things out of his control and things he shouldn't be judged on.
  18. It's a little bit more complicated than just who is more important than the other BUT Experienced Manager who was showing he had completely lost any ability he had, hadn't won a trophy in years, was consistently alienating players and fans with his antics, was demanding full control of the whole club, was dragging the club through the gutter press week in week out and was making baffling unexplainable decisions game in game out or a player at the peak of his powers, who had carried the club for a decade and the only two trophy wins said experienced manager had achieved with the club were almost solely down to said player? What's happened since has been a mess. The club wasn't just being let down by the experienced manager it was being led in a downward spiral off the pitch because of the owners. A bad managerial appointment in Hodgson, a succession of bad buys by the next manager and an overhaul in the way we play has led the club to be in state of affairs it's in at the moment. This has also now led to the view that somehow the removal of Benitez was a bad decision. The thing these people are completely missing is that this buffoon has now had two jobs since and has made a pigs ear out of both of them. Yes, Gerrard has not performed to his level in that same period which obviously points to this being short sighted BUT you don't have to sell Gerrard, he can be benched, you can't just bench the manager because he's gone to shit. I have got a lot more confidence that Gerrard will be more important and achieve more in his final years than Benitez would have achieved had he stayed or even wherever he ends up. The guy has completely lost whatever it was he had. Bringing him back would have been the biggest mistake this club would have ever made. Luckily from what I've heard the majority at the club can't fucking stand him so there's no chance he will come back. Hopefully that is true.
  19. Sorry Vlad but this is absolute kneejerk bullshit. All season in nearly every game bar the odd one we've been dominating the ball and the game and creating lots of chances. We are employing Rodgers' system very well. We have just struggled to score goals for a number of reasons. Mainly due to the fact that we didn't have an out an out striker good enough for the premier league. Some games Suarez's brilliance would get us through and sometimes it wouldn't. Another main issue was having a lot of young players who naturally haven't scored the goals needed. More recently things started to click and we've been battering teams at home, actually scoring goals as well as doing all the things previous. With the addition of Sturridge we finally had a complete first 11. Apart from the Oldham game it was all going well. Last night was just a repeat of all the bad things that have happened when Sturridge wasn't here. We absolutely fucking battered them and did everything but score. When that happens people start getting desperate and it opens it up for the opposition and it did. Can you not remember how fucking blunt we were under the Benitez regime in the same type of games despite the vastly superior side we had? Doing what Rodgers has had the players doing is the correct thing. We are keeping the ball arguably better than when Benitez was in charge and yet creating even more chances. We just need to sign goalscorers and better players. It's really that simple. It's massively deflating when things happen like last night but if we want to get the club dominating football again we need to have a genuine football idea that is attack minded and it is not going to work overnight especially with the players we currently have at the club. Rodgers has the idea and I'm confident he can get it working he just needs to prove he can sign the necessary players. So far for Sturridge we've also got Borini.
  20. You are a travesty of a poster and this is a travesty of a post. Fucking brainless cunt. Actually read back what you have just put. You want to take Suarez off. That's Suarez the guy with the second most amount of goals in the prem and 9 in 10 before last night who created quite a few oppotunities for himself and others and you want him replaced with Borini... BORINI. You fucking thick fucking cunt. Where the fuck do you want Borini played you fucking stupid cunt. He came on and played right down the middle. Do you want him at centre half or something? He would probably be as threatening to oppositions there as he is up front. The crowd where instantly on his back for one reason. He was being a lazy cunt. We had Suarez, Henderson and even Shelvey chasing down all the time they were on the pitch. Then he comes on and can't be arsed. Fair enough he needs games to get sharp but this should be the minimum expected from him. Henderson "the in form" player wasn't really offering us much apart from running. He was replaced and a more attacking player was brought on you stupid fucking cunt. You also want Wisdom on for Enrique so we can then put Johnson at left back? They both weren't playing well but do you honestly think Wisdom is going to offer more going forward than eitehr of these 2. I just want to end this post by saying I think you are now officially the stupidest cunt I have ever come across.
  21. It seems a lot of people seem to be completely missing a few factors with this. It's like when those complete divvies on RAWK wanted Leiva to be made captain a few years ago. Do you honestly think that any senior player would pay any notice to anything he had to say? That he could honestly have a go at any senior players and would be taken seriously. I don't want to turn into one of those you've never played the game type posters but seriously Henderson? Your captain doesn't always have to be your best player, in fact a lot of the time it's probably best that he isn't, BUT and it's a big but he does have to be one of the best players and have the respect and appreciation of the all if not the majority of the team. If you have ever played in a team with a bad choice of a captain you will know this. Players end up thinking "who the fuck does he think he is? What the fuck is he offering to the team? as soon as things go the wrong way they can't rejuvenate the team because there is resentment or said player just disappears and folds under the pressure. You can't be picking water carriers like Henderson or Leiva as your captain. It's fucking ridiculous. No player would take them seriously. Especially when there's various national captains in the team and the pair of them can't even get in their national squad. Your captain needs to be your talisman which on occasion can be your centre forward but more often will be your centre mid. Separate to this if you haven't got one of the above by default it goes to one of your centre halves.
  22. It's a combination of things which all surround the most mportant thing - Ferguson. To start with he's just a fucking brilliant manager. His tactics over the years have never really changed. It flies in the face that 442 doesn't work any more because he still plays that formation more than any. As has already been mentioned they basically attack and attack until they score more goals than the opposition. Sometimes it doesn't work and everyone laughs but how often is that exactly? Can anyone remember a game that was relevant where they were beaten and weren't throwing the kitchen sink at the opposition for the last half hour of the game. In the 90's they were just blessed with amazing set of youngsters. It's something that has been evident throughout their successful period. Despite having lots of experienced players over the years Ferguson has consistently shoe horned young attacking players into the side so that they would be ingrained with the same philosophy that was embed in the players before them. Whilst the rest of the big guns in the league became obsessed with negative hard working players united go out and buy young fast risk takers and mould them into great players. The other main reason is the competition. Each of the challengers over the years made their own problems paving the way for Ferguson and united to just carry on doing what they have been doing. The league became obsessed with negative managers which in the long run cannot maintain success. The big spenders have fell at this hurdle. Last but not least he is backed in the transfer market season in season out. There's no director of football shite going on no interference from board level. He likes a player and they go out and sign them.
