    The only practical presents which are acceptable on Planet Bird are those whose practicality relates to one`s ability to wear them in ears or around wrists or necks. Ie jewellry. Clothing could be ok but is really really risky as you rsk causing huge offence. Arranging days or nights out is quite a good one as it gives you something to look forward to. Don`t ever buy anything remotely useful around the house. It may appear to go down well on the day, but it wont be long before truth comes out. And save any naughty pressies for bedtime.

    Sorry, but THE most annoying film character is the woman played by Andie McDowell in Four Weddings and a Funeral. (Although it could just be a case of the most annooying actress...)

    The much fitter bird on this awful programme is Lucy Siegel, who has a nice figure and lovely legs and wears heels a lot. Much fitter than the Christine whatshername

    Poinsetta: defined as a plant genetically bred to lose all its leaves within five seconds of being brought into your house. They`re not even nice plants to look at, you can`t eat them, and they don`t have a noticeable smell. Utter waste of time.

Game pie: sounds exotic and traditional but utterly boring. Whole nuts: what`s wrong with the ready-shelled versions? Avocaat: Bright yellow egg drink? Retch!
