To those of you who watch German football; who is better Kuba, Renato Augusto or Trochowski? If we bought either of those three and a left winger (eg Turan, di Maria, etc) would you sell Yossi or Reira (in addition to Babel)?

We've been linked with Kuba again today for £7m. Wouldn't be surprised if Rafa made a bid for him as we've linked with him for ages. Think he'd be a bit of an improvement on Yossi but could probably do better.

Cheers for your thoughts and hope you're right! I'm hopeful LDV, Bucthmann, Wisdom and Amoo have all got a chance and I expect them to be more involved in the reserves next season. If we could just get one youngster through each year that would be a great achievement. Insua could be the first of many!

I've only started watching the youth/reserve teams this season. I was just wondering how people rate the individuals in this youth team compared to those in the youth teams that won the cup a few years back. For example is Amoo as good as Hammill was, LDV as good as Lindfield, Pepper as good as Spearing, etc. In other words have any of these boys got any more chance of makng it than the squad 2/3 years ago?

I'm hoping LDV, Wisdom, Bucthmann and maybe Amoo have got a chance of some first team action. I think Rafa is desperate to get a few through so hopefully they get their chance.

I agree we need someone to compete with Riera and an attacking RB but I don't think we need a no. 10 forward. Surely that's what Gerrard now is and we've also got Pacheco coming through. I'd rather sign a target man who can play alongside either torres or gerrard. I also like the thought of sending N'gog out on loan to Fulham provided he'll play.

Balague also said in today's Revista podcast that if Perez gets elected he will try to swap Sneijder for Alonso. I've heard the Alonso-Real link a few times over the last month so I wouldn't be surprised if they put a bid in.

Babel's main problem is that it pains him to be used as a left winger when he's convinced he's going to be the next Henry (the Arsenal center forward version). I'm sure if we did play him as a striker more often his work rate and enthusiasm would improve and we may see him at his best.

Sell, sell, sell. At today's exchange rate we paid the equivalent of about £15m so hopefully we'll be able to get about £10m for him this summer then get Arda Turan for about £16m. Happy days!

Is that Kuba fella anywhere near as good as Arshavin or has he got the potential to be as good? Anyone know of any Arshavin-type players we could sign in the summer?

LDV has his own website , which is his name plus dot com. ( I'm not allowed to write an URL yet!) Apparently he cost us €1.5m which seems a lot for a 16 year old. He also played as an attacking midfielder in Finland so comparisons to Eidur Gudjohnson might be right. Looks like he'll be fighting it out with Pacheco for the future second striker role. Has anyone been watching the reserves/youths for several years? Was wondering if this group of youngsters is any better than what we've had in the past? For example is Nemeth any better than what Mellor was at a similar age? (think I remember everyone was getting excited about him). Is San Jose any better than Traore was in the reserves? Is Pacheco any better than Richie Patridge? Etc. Would appreciate your views.

Dear all, Have recently bought an iPod touch and have been fairly impressed. The only problem is that I can't find a way of installing Adobe Flash onto it and therefore I'm unable to watch videos on certain websites. Just wondering if anyone has been able to find a way of overcoming this problem? Would really appreciate any help. Cheers

Thought Bruna was showing glimses of potential in the 2 games before he got injured. He is the same age as Pacheco though so I guess he should be at a similar level to him if he's going to have any chance, and he's a long way behind Dani. Hopefully something will click and he'll play a few decent games before he end of the season. Perhaps a loan move to Spain might help him out next season. -
