    Im glad we seem to have a midfield that is slowly easing gerrard out of the door, I dont mean that in a bad way, but before he was an automatic pick, now, like rooney today, now he has real competition. At least now if he wants a place he should fight for it.

    Kinda shit from Swansea laying the blame at our feet, i reckon his agent is just doing his job and made us aware that other clubs are ready to pay the £15 million for his client. I hardly know a thing about him, but whoever it was, im not sure paying that amount on a position we are already bursting at the seams at, is the best option.

    FSG still making a cunt of it, if they think he is the person to lead the club over the next 3 years and take us into the Champions League then 4-5 million is a small price to pay.     I hope to fuck he proves us wrong and best of luck to him but Robbie Savage was right, we are a top 8 club. We shouldnt really be surprised though apart from 2 singular amazing years we have been mismanaged from the top and the bottom for two decades, this is just a culmination of it all.

    The next 6 weeks is going to tell us everything, if Martinez turns up as manager then we can probably kiss goodbye to a new stadium and enter the world of what its like to be a medium size club for forseeable future,if however a fantasy manager turns up in the form of Capello et al then it shows they really do mean buisness, not quite sure what way its going to go to be honest.

    Im not really sure where this leaves us, we as fans are allowed to voice and call for knee jerk decisions even if we dont truly believe them, the board of a football club are an entirely different matter, to tear up their project after just 18 or so months because of a loss in a cup final smacks of a set of people who have no idea how to run a football club.

    I know its a cliche this season, but Carroll does have time on his side and may still prove effective, Downing has always been fucking horse shit most of his career. Think somebody mentioned that O'Neil is an admirer of, hopefully Sunderland will come in with something reasonable and take him off us. Manager's have to give a bit of a carrott and stick but it was a really silly comment from Dalglish, perhaps a bit of a rollicking in public would do him some good, instead of stroking whatever ego he has.

    What I was blaming the players like you? I dont think there is any doubt that they were the worst performers, is there? Aww right, sorry I just realised they were Kenny's signings, keep on forgetting this isnt Red Cafe and we are not allowed to criticise him or anything he does.
