    Agree, a drawn series in south africa is a good result with the calibre of players we have. It doesn't make the result of this test any more easier to stomach though. Especially when half our team grew up in SA and should know the conditions inside out

    After reflection and a few beers, i stick with my answer Till the end of the season. Rafa's a good manager the best we've had for a long time, it looks more unlikely he'll turn it round every game but i hope he does. If we'd beat stoke we'd be 2 points behind fourth, now i dont for one minute believe fourth is good enough but im saying things aren't as bad as they could be. If there was money available in this transfer window my answer might be different.But i agree the situation cannot continue and rafa needs to show how good a manager he is from now till the end of the season

    Repped for that. Gerrard's the club captain and it's his job to speak out. None of us know if this is true, but it would suggest what a lot of us think that rafa's lost the dressing room.

    As someone else said the positive is were still in it. It's another game to try and get out of this dire form. As for spurs we owe them and I'd expect us to be up for this like we were the villa game.

    There's still a massive lack of confidence in the defence. On corners and free kicks we had everyone back and no outlet, this just invited them to come back at us and gain confidence. Start of the second half we should of controlled it, but played our worst spell of the game. Dire times indeed. I thought insua was getting ripped to bits and after taking a booking should of been subbed before aurelio, allowing him to slot into left back and yossi to come on sooner. IMO the subs made us worse.

    we'll win this. Kuyt's definitely gonna play rafa's got his name on the team sheet already, its wishfull thinking otherwise. I hope aquilani plays and aurelio at left back. Pacheco would be better coming off the bench, but i dont think rafa will use him.
