  1. I suppose the only hope is that Labour are trying to sound palatable to the disillusioned Tory voters who would be open to switching their vote, but not to the Marxists. Once in power, they can nudge the narrative to the (centre) left again. Hopefully.
  2. All these commentators who are now claiming that there is little to choose between Labour and the Conservatives can fuck right off as far as I'm concerned - especially those from the supposedly left wing broadsheets. They all had the chance to get behind a genuine alternative to the neo lib shite we're enduring now a couple of years back, but they shit a brick and allowed all this to happen. Fuck them.
  3. Most news reports this week on the BBC about bankrupt councils seem to have been very keen to avoid the subject of central government funding cuts.
  4. Whenever I see this I can only hear "Collymore closing in..." As shit as this kit is, I still prefer it to that Nike abomination.
  5. It's not hard to imagine him convincing his base that the two term limit on presidencies was a plot by Democrats to limit popular presidents like him - and that he should definitely be allowed to carry on if it's 'the will of the people'.
  6. Elites? Fuck right off. I hate how this term is used as some kind of catch all by internet addled conspiracy loons. Who are the 'elite' in football? Clubs who have built their success over years? Clubs who embrace international supporters rather than actively shun them? Clubs who, dare I say it, have actually been successful? These fuckwits really do need to take a break from whichever social media site has filled their heads full of shite.
  7. Cool, cheers. I've always said this as well.
  8. Where do you stand on drugs that are currently illegal?
  9. I reckon Franck will at the weekend. He's done it before with De Bruyne for Man City - just man marked him and nullified City.
  10. Yep. Can see us getting royally fucked over and the message will be "well, you got away with one last week".
  11. Probably due to all the screaming from the whiny cunts in the crowd. Wasn't there a moment as well, where we were not given an obvious corner and their support started cheering like they'd got one over on us? Fucking hate small time cunts like these.
  12. It's the same as the outrage over the Super League. Those controlling the message got everybody angry about something they had no clue about - and I suspect the media person for HIGNFY is no different. Aldo was saying on the LFCTV commentary that he'd never heard a crowd like it. Wailing and screaming for every decision, whether it was right or wrong. Brexit Britain in a nutshell. Right or wrong doesn't matter - winning (or rather the other person losing) is all that matters.
  13. A Man City supporter moaning about a complicit media? Fucking hell.
  14. He clearly was wound up though and didnt want to talk about the ref. They can fuck off trying to pin that on Tierney. If it is about us not giving the ball back, he wasn't that arsed when they did it to us in the first half. Even then, it was a good couple of minutes before the goal. Minutes they spent time wasting.
  15. Nuno holy spirit cry arsing on Sky now. Fuck knows why. Their shit house tactics got them exactly what they deserved. Fuck all.
  16. Maybe that included the time taken when the Forest player booted the ball into the stands after Tierney had blown for a free kick.
  17. Always sweet when timewasting cunts get done in added time. Cunts.
  18. A draw does neither team, but Forest playing for one anyway. Cunts.
  19. I think Forest will probably play similarly to Southampton the other night. They'll sit deep, try to knock it around the press and hit the channels for their quick lads to chase. I don't think these are as good as Southampton at doing it, and even they got caught out a few times. I think we need to pressurise their keeper as well, as he's very capable of dropping a bollock. If we work as hard as them, we'll be ok as our players are better. If we play with any kind of lethargy, we'll struggle, as their crowd will be howling for everything (a bit like going to Brentford).
  20. Gary O'Neill may disagree. Wolves have had some shitty decisions this year.
  21. No doubt sin bins will be used with the same even handed approach as the dissent rules this season.
