    Taken in isolation, decisions like this can be put down to mistakes. When you also look at the handball they got against Wolves - decisions which have gained them 4 points - you do have to wonder. Especially when the ref on VAR tonight was also the ref who chose not to give the pen for the foul on Jota against Spurs or a red for Kane.

    I think it's exactly this. We've been conditioned by years of tv and cinema into thinking that anyone with a plummy Oxbridge accent is highly intelligent and best suited to leadership. Think of the accents of the actors who play prime ministers or high ranking civil servants and it's little surprise that huge swathes of the electorate still believe Johnson is a person capable of running a country.

    My lads have only just grown out of watching Teen Titans Go! - which is a pity as I quite enjoyed it. It was silly enough to amuse the kids but also full of eighties references.
