  1. Goes back to that quarter final in 2019(?) when Guardiola was sent off at half time. You could see then that Klopp had his number when it comes to getting into his head, no manager in his right mind behaves like he did with his players looking on, they could see he’d bottled it and they did nothing in that second half. Then there was that interview the other week where he called us a pain in the ass because we’re always there, letting his true feelings out I think. My guess is that his insecurity spreads down to some of his players, particularly when he makes those odd tactical changes from time to time, when the pressure is on, and that if he had a handle on things, Silva and Laporte and the rest of their players would have been told to say nothing, particularly to the media.
  2. Tough time fella. Take care of your family, and don’t forget yourself. We’ll be here waiting.
  3. I’m guessing BRB might have photographic evidence of some or all of the Premier League Executive for this load of crap to be brushed to one side.
  4. One of the Orginals are the Ev. Founders I tells yer! Been in the top league longer than anyone else and they deserve, DESERVE, to be in the top league and at the top table…..and ifitadnerbinfer………
  5. It’s all “alleged”, or “sources close to” stuff. And then he’s seen walking through an airport unscathed. The symptoms are those similar to if he’d have drunk dodgy vodka. More likely the explanation.
  6. Surely not?? I would never accuse Abramovich of looking for the sympathy vote.
  7. What an unfortunate situation, Abramovich poisoned at the peace talks, apparently not enough to hurt or kill him though, nothing suspicious in this at all though, hey?
  8. I can only imagine what my Mum would say had I said that on Mothers Day to her after binning her off for a Fantasy Mum who was much younger and prettier but who hadn’t actually turned up yet after years of promises. Unless of course, secretly, I knew she wasn’t ever going to turn up and I wanted my Old Mum to remain in my life and for my family to be convinced she was, after all, the best option.
  9. There have been multiple complaints about semi-finals being played at Wembley since the FA decreed they should take place there. None have been moved. This one wasn’t ever going to be moved either no matter how sensible it might be, because the FA have steadfastly shown since Wembley has been rebuilt, that they want to maximise profits and keeping the semi-finals there won’t affect their takings because fans will find a way to get there, particularly Liverpool fans, and at any time, on any date, as has been proved previously in any big game we play. We are victims of our own passion. Not sure the City end will be full however.
  10. Forest have always been small time, bar for those few years when Clough dragged them into the limelight. I like it that we need a rest as much as the players, valid point, we’ll made Steve!
  11. Yesterday’s rotation shouldn’t have mattered. We were just sloppy. Thankfully, we were sloppy against a team that weren’t good enough to capitalise. We’ve had the loss against Inter, which ultimately didn’t matter, and we were unlucky in that game. What this demonstrates is, you can be sloppy and still win, you can be dominant and yet lose, fine margins indeed, but with the quality of teams coming up, we can’t be that sloppy again. All I want to see is 100% effort and that we do our best in every game, whoever is picked. After that you can’t ask for much more, if a referee gets a decision wrong, if an opponent has a missing shot deflected in, that’s just how it goes and it is out of your control. I have 100% faith in Klopp and the boys trying their level best, I don’t expect any less, so if them giving 100% gets us four trophies or just the one, so be it. As has been said, we’re playing against teams with odds stacked in their favour and still we’re worrying them more than they worry us. This is a great team and manager, perhaps, arguably, the best we’ve had. The Reds aren’t just coming up the hill boys, they’re already at the summit and ready to climb the flagpole at the top.
  12. We look half arsed here. 2nd gear. Just step it up, get a couple of goals and then stroll around if necessary.
  13. I didn’t say those players, I said players of that calibre. Some of the players we have here now, who are regarded as world class, I have no doubt signed because of Klopp being here, would they have signed had he not been here? I don’t think so. Virgil for one one was reported to have turned down interest from other big clubs to sign for us because of Klopp. If I didn’t explain that clearly enough then I hope this clarifies that?
  14. Long may it continue. They’re the only other club with a pedigree and history of winning comparable to ours, but they do have more cash, and that’s always going to be dangerous if (when?) they get their shit together. Other clubs tend to blow in, shine for a while, then crash and burn. Hopefully that’s what’s happening at Chelsea, and what will happen at City if the Premier League have the balls to take them on and Newcastle too.
  15. Don’t let them score first, that'll just give them a boost. Get a goal and they’ll collapse as their game plan will be gone. Lastly, teach Mane to stay onside.
  16. Arsenal making pretty patterns. Need a goal to see how they react. Getting nothing off the ref as usual.
  17. BBC reporting this morning (via Football Insider) that Mo would prefer to stay in the Premier League if he can’t agree a new contract with us. Sounds like agent speak to me, ramping it up by threatening he’ll go to either City or United (unless Chelsea get cleared to spend again, and they have previous for buying back players for big bucks). Still think PSG or Madrid most likely if there’s no agreement.
  18. The same Bruce Buck who referred to Liverpool FC as “a smallish club somewhere up north”. Eat shit twat.
  19. I think City will get Haaland, next season or the season after. The other night showed Mbappe what he could expect at Madrid, which creates a Salah sized hole at PSG, unless Madrid decide to go for him as well as Mbappe. We could sign Mbappe…………joking, joking.
  20. I feel there’s an element of Mo’s agent realising he has maybe one more big move left, as he’s 30 and he either has a contract from us that’ll cover any extra that’ll be made from a move to whoever, or he leaves for whoever if we don’t give him the money. There’s also other factors, one of the commentators let slip the other night that Salah might like to be the first Egyptian to play for Real Madrid, which might mean nothing but might also have an element of truth about it. He might be aware that we are going to sign players who might compromise his position here (no laughing at the back) or that we might not be signing anyone of note, we aren’t privy to any of this and aren’t likely to be. He’s won the title here, he’s won the CL here, he has nothing left to prove to us or anyone else about his time here, is it actually unsurprising then he might think it’s time he moved on for his own sake? I’ve no doubt, although I can’t prove it, he will have been made an improved offer, which is possibly the most we’ve ever offered any player, but if it isn’t enough for his agent then he moves on. If that is the case then, as has been said, it’s thanks very much Mo, you’re a legend fella, good luck wherever you go, as long as it isn’t when you play us, or if it’s to PSG or City ever.
