  1. Thought he was at fault for their first goal - was it Rooney? - remember going ballistic at the time - didn't mean he was to blame for the Macheda goal just reminidng those who had wiped it from their memories which game I meant.
  2. excuse me Mr Carra, the last fucking thing you need is another cup of coffee.
  3. And the same FA who rescinded Friedel's against us last year when he wiped someone out in front of goal. They did that deliberately as they knew he'd bo woeful againist teh Mancs the next week (game when Macheda scored) - all a massive conspiracy don'tyaknow. To be fair, I thoughtDegen deservedto go at the match, but when you see ot on TV it shoudl hav ebeen a yellow. That bullet headed twat was pandeing to their crowd whio thought he should've given them a pen and sent Carra off earlier.
  4. Shit - I even forgot Benayoun was fit. Just assuming that decent player = injured at the moment.
  5. Nah - just as LM. Attack. Could play insua there instead. Wird formation but it accomodates a few attacking players. I know he won't do it, but 3 at the back with an old-fashioned libero might work. Other pet theories - how about Lucas at RB or right wing-back?
  6. Oops .. here's part 2 Reina Carra Greek Agger Mascherano Kuyt Lucas Aquilani (Spearing if AA unfit) Babel Ngog Torres
  7. Is Spearing fit? I probbaly wouldn't play him myself but it' sinteresting how nopne is calling for him to get a game tonight. I've got no axe to grind, but he was the Great White Hope the otehr week. How about this line up Reina
  8. The best pubs are on the other side of Putney Bridge - a bit of a walk, but worth it, near Putney Main line station. I like the Whistle & Flute on Putney High Street - always lots of Reds about. There's a walkabout right by the bridge too that will definitely have the match on but gets a bit busy. All about 20 mins from the ground. By Putney Bridge Tube there's the Larrick and O'Neills. Both OK but too full after half one.
  9. 1. Ngog 2. Degen 3. Insua How anyone has Voronin in there is beyond me. That was one of the laziest performances I've ever seen in a red shirt. I've tried to stick up for him in the past in the face of all the evidence, but that was poor. Same goes for Babel, although he looked interested at times.
  10. European cup final man of the match??? For missing our best chance? He is a dick, but I actually can't see how the Guardian get their headline from that picece. Nice to see they choose to make that their main sports headline on the website. It's just hatchet job after hatchet job at teh minute. Anyone would think it's a Manchester paper ... oh wait ...
  11. My thoughts exactly - headline just a few hours early.
  12. Sorry coop-- I was looking for a thread - didn't look hard enough
  13. ... would it be desperation to have him involved on Sunday? Alberto Aquilani has been named among the substitutes for tonight's reserve league clash with Sunderland - a match you can watch live and exclusive on LFC TV and online. The Italian international resumed full training at Melwood last week after recovering from an ankle injury, and could now be set for his first action in a red shirt as John McMahon's side look to record their fifth consecutive victory. The match kicks off at 7pm, but our coverage on LFC TV - which can also be watched online via the e-Season Ticket - gets underway at 6.30pm. The Liverpool team for tonight's game is: Martin Hansen Stephen Darby Robbie Threlfall Daniel Sanchez Ayala Chris Mavinga Steven Irwin Nathan Eccleston David Amoo Nikola Saric Daniel Pacheco Alex Kacaniklic Substitutes: Emmanuel Mendy Dean Bouzanis Jordy Brouwer Alberto Aquilani Vincent Weijl
  14. Pjanic on the street ... etc But really proud of some of the performances tonight - Kelly (obv), Insua and Agger all looked good. Did not deserve to lose that. If someone gave us a bottle of beer we'd slip on it at the moment. This is all down to the owners. Their lack of investment in the summer left us feeling sorry for ourselves and we haven't got over it. We just need all to get behind OUR team. Come on Liverpool!
  15. I reckon checking them for beachballs is a bit counter-productive. Would have lightened the mood a bit.
  16. Well, if we're looking for a manager and Mourinho's not available ...
