The issue we have with the Saudis and other similar nations is one of modernity; the western world has moved on leaving them behind. To sit here now and say "the way you look at things is wrong, you should see the world as we do" smacks of the colonialist attitudes we condemn. To effect change we need to engage and challenge their views. Whilst I would prefer Hendo - who I like and respect as a man and a footballer - not to take their coin, if he goes there and, using his high profile, continues to espouse the views we associate with him it will be a great catalyst to move opinion in the region. I have my fingers crossed.

Trent is very good at kicking a football. With either foot. He also has a great eye for a pass. but having watched the recent England games I don’t think he understands the game in midfield. He was not involved enough, was often poorly placed when they had the ball and didn’t work hard enough to get in position to receive it when we did. for that reason I think he has to start at RB moving into the quarterback role when possible.
