    At the time it had me until the BBC effects dept went into overdrive. I received an invite last year to the Beeb's trial run of an online archive, and Ghostwatch was one of those available, but today it's very dated and almost laughable. The BBC's Ghost Story for Christmas adaptations still possess a real chill tho.

    Policy wise there's also hardly a hairs breadth between them. I actually miss the old combative days when they were right and left, and traded both philosophy and insults.

    Despite all the criticism he received, ditching Blair was extremely foolish and those who doubted Brown's credentials have been proven right. As soon as I saw him on the steps of No. 10 with Maggie my stomach turned.

    At that point the skies hadn't yet opened and I think Hamilton took team instructions to let Kimi through. Personally I thought Raikkonen was at fault for losing position into turn 1. He has his whole car in front of Hamilton's down the start/finish straight but for some bizarre reason allowed Lewis down the inside. Both he and Massa are very odd. One race they are more or less invincible and the next struggling to get on the podium.

    This would be the same Kimi who when he rams a driver from behind it's a 'racing incident', but when he is hit it's penalties all round. Did he not gain an advantage by rear-ending Sutil?;

    The FIA have been hammering McLaren at every opportunity since last year's spy controversy. This kind of manouvre, where a driver is squeezed off the track, happens at nearly every circuit but rarely gets punished - the alternative it for drivers to take each other off. A 25 second penalty for maybe gaining 1 second is laughable. It's handy that Massa gets a financial penalty at Valencia but Hamilton gets a time penalty.

    They'll get players as Chelsea did. The financial incentives will be too tempting to turn down; tho like Chelsea, class young players at big clubs will knock them back.

    I think the truth behind part of this disenchantment is that we're projecting the anger over how our own club is run onto others. If we're not careful we'll become the new bitters.

    Dave summed it up in 2007. It was all pretty disappointing but I suppose the positives need to be taken from it. At the moment we’re a bit like Kiera Knightly, very tight at the back, pretty hard to penetrate whilst being a little dodgy up front.

    Maybe a demo on the Kop akin to Truth Day. But this time the truth about G&H. They'll brush off straightforward anti-American abuse so it needs to be fact-based on their broken promises.
