This is the set I have 46X3000 Really can't fault it. I know it goes over your budget a bit, but the new X4000 series is coming along in a few months, so I reckon you might be able to haggle a bit on price. Plus, looking at digitaldirect there, looks like they've a "pay nothing for a year" option, which would give you time to save the bit extra! :angel:

Great set. I've the X series of the same tv, and it's gift. As for the p and i thing. All LCD are p and i, just depends on pixels. All LCD's (I think) will do 720p and 1080i, but only the newer version will do 1080p.

Was gonna suggest ConvertXtoDVD too. Great bit of kit. You'd use ConvertX if you wanted to maybe drop an avi onto a dvd and make it a "video" dvd. You can actually use ConvertX to throw a number of avi's onto a dvd, create a menu, etc. But that's beside the point. This disc should then be playable on all dvd players. The other option is to use Nero to just create a "data" dvd. That's literally just using the disc as a storage location, and will only be readable by computers and some dvd players. Actually, most dvd players can now handle avi type stuff. So I guess if you're making data discs through Nero and the burn is failing, maybe you could try the ConvertX route. If you're making "video" discs through Nero and the burn is failing, maybe you could try the ConvertX route. You could maybe also reduce your burn speed. Sometimes that does the trick. Other than that, I'm afraid I'm shit out of ideas.

What happens then though?

Maybe he should. But that could be throwing the baby out with the bathwater. I don't know of another manager that could come in and do a better/as good a job as Rafa. Things evolve. When Rafa arrived, it was 4-4-2, and that suited Xabi down to the ground. But since we've changed formation, for the better I believe, Rafa needs to use players that will utilise the formation to it's fullest. In his eyes, that involves replacing Xabi with Barry. Whether it's right or wrong, only time will tell. But Rafa should definitely be given this coming season to prove if he's right or wrong.

On paper and in the Champions League, I fully agree. In the Premiership though, Barry + Masch + Steve is a better option. Xabi has been a fantastic player for us, and no doubt he'll be a fantastic player for Juve. I just think that the EPL has caught up to him...or maybe it's Rafa is strangling his talents? Whatever it is, he certainly doesn't look the player we signed. Our new formation doesn't suit Xabi, but I think our formation is the way forward for us. The guy would never bitch to the papers about not being played, which is a credit to him and tells you everything you need to know about the man. But as things stand, Xabi is wasted with us. And as the old saying goes, "if you love someone, you should let them go". All the above is IMHO.

I love the way they ipulate the figures. Like when we bought him, it was £26.5m. Now that we're selling him, that figure's down to £20.2m, making it look like we're making a bigger profit. Snidey fuckers! As an aside, I like the fact that Pennant says he wants to stay at the club. He's never quite set the world alight, but he definitely upped his game in the second half of the season. I'd like to see him get another season. We're not going to lose much on him by keeping him for another season.

Just on SSN there that he's confirmed that Ronaldinho, Deco, and Eto'o are all surplus to requirements at Barca. We probably wouldn't be interested in any of them, but thought it was worth a post! :dunno:
