    Really hope he doesnt go. But after Englands dismal performance and looking like he's on his way back to another shambles at Anfield if things dont change dramatically, I wouldnt fault him if he moved to Madrid for a more realistic chance of success.

    Darby is a decent player, but he doesnt have the attributes to make it at Liverpool. Kelly on the other hand has everything about him top make it at Liverpool. I reckon Darby is a lower prem team player (Hull, Burnley, Wolves etc) at best and more than likely a decent championship level player.

    Looking at his performancein isolation, I thought he did well. But the biggest problem he will have is not having enough players on the same wavelength as him on the pitch.

    Deserves a contract. He had a couple of less than average over the last few years but is still the mainstay of the defence. Him and Agger at CB I can see them rekindling teh 06/07 season CB pairing, which was one of our best all round in recent years. We cant afford to make the same mistakes with Carra as we did with Sami. He should stay with us til he hangs up his boots. If that be that on one year rolling contracts, then so be it.

    Correct in this regard , but overall a complete wanker! Did well his team last night didnt they? He should have concentrated on getting his own team to take their chances rather than slagging off the irish team for not doing so against some of the best players (and that keeper as we seen with Lyon is brilliant.) in the world. Bitter man with too many personal issues

    Negative, skrtel has been worse. Carragher has improved his form, whil skrtel is going backwards, worringly so. He's starting to look like he's afraid of opposition players now.
