  1. One bunch of bastards will be crying at the end of the final. It's a long way to travel home when you've just lost. Hitmen are much cheaper to hire over there - yes, I'm looking at you Richard Keys!
  2. might as well play Riise in the ressies and Insua in the first team now
  3. nah, send him a puppy with a note in its collar for a claim for child maintenance
  4. he will surely die one day, and hopefully before the rest of us, but his lycanthrope powers may maintain him in an undead state of some sort
  5. I'd love to see us get a great right-sided midfielder/ attacker but, if we did, Rafa would probably play Dirk on the left; and he'd probably not complain and would work his bollocks off again. He's not class but he is a true Liverpool player - I've seen much lesser players called 'legs' on this forum.
  6. Reckon if we'd signed him as a 'busy box to box' wide midfielder who puts in a lot of tackles and scores a few, we'd all be creaming our shorts about how good he is. Maybe he can become a (albeit much lesser) modern version of Ray Kennedy.
  7. is a bit sad though that a player with so many qualities of a park footballer couldn't hoof it into the car park
  8. As an old fecker, I remember a bbc drama in the 70s called "I'm a dreamer Montreal" which was about misunderstandings. I think I pretended to be interested in it in case there were some tits in it. There weren't and it was shite but I had to watch it to the end so as not to ruin the hard won child who appreciates drama alibi I'd earned with my liberal parents, which later allowed access to great programmes with tits in like the Borgias etc. And by the way the song was 'I'm a dreamer aren't we all'. Oh and I spent years trying to understand what Michael Stipe was singing on Murmour and Fables of the Reconstruction.
  9. Really good response from a Bolton fan via Newsnow Bolton Wanderers - Please Mr Benitez… In times of crisis, it`s good to have a leader who inspires belief. Some football managers can motivate the players and reassure the fans with a few well chosen words. Gary Megson isn`t one of them. Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is the latest recipient of the ginger one`s wisdom. 'Liverpool will have a massive say in which teams go down with their next two league games,' Megson told The Sun. 'We hope Rafa Benitez will retain the integrity of the Premier League with his squad selection. 'You would imagine Liverpool's Premier League campaign is still as important as the Champions League. They are battling with Everton for fourth so there is local pride to play for. 'It is nobody else's business but I'm sure Rafa realises the importance of being seen to do the right thing.' Megson is right on the last count. It`s nobody`s business. Certainly not his, and speaking in The Sun on a Liverpool related matter, the day after the anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster shows a stunning lack of tact. He`s also open to a charge of hypocrisy, after playing a team in Lisbon, that included a couple of ball boys, an act which has alienated most Wanderers fans. What difference will it make? Absolutely none. Benitez will snigger (think of Muttley in Wacky Races, and you`ll get the picture) and then pick whatever side he chooses. As he`s perfectly entitled to.
  10. Samuel L Jackson, or anyone in a 51st state - that's speeding
  11. someone else's song though, isn't it?
  12. didn't know he was on it, but the news finishes and there the fucker is. It's no coincidence that he's doing a feature on conspiracy theories, given his association with fiction, but there must be someone at the BBC who knows what he is and is giving him this coverage. Probably someone he's got muck on
  13. never a truer word said: "make it up". closest we'll get to an apology
  14. the twat is on it now. Obviously got a good mate at the BBC who's getting him so much work
  15. I was a total alpha male with her and Liara but for some reason, couldn't make it work!
  16. ps tried to get the 3some thing going with Liara and Ashley but the game wasn't having it. hopefully they'll fix it by the next one. No, it's not the mobile phone sex, chav husband Ashley.
  17. Fantastic game and the opportunity to see girl on (alien) girl action! Story is amazing too, and lots of difficult choices to make. the side quests are really wank though, go there, fetch that etc... Hopefully they'll sort it out for the next 2. By the way, why is it that everything has to be a trilogy/ chosen one thing?
  18. Arbeloa's been a bit off recently but he's had games where he's overlapped and offered something, as well as being solid. Sadly, we don't have the fullbacks who get forward the way Kennedy, Neal, Jones used to (or even McAteer). I remember Neal used to get stick for being suspect in defence (not from LFC fans). Don't know where I'm going with this, other than down memory lane and more vodka.
