  1. And £50m incoming from Fab and Henderson, plus a king’s ransom off the wage bill.
  2. If only there was a place where footballers could make huge money and where the people don’t care about how badly women are treated. Wait, there is but he’s just been kicked out of there. If only there was ANOTHER place like that.’ Brilliant The Dean comments should have sparked a massive debate about the integrity of these fuckers, but the media are far more interested in The Dirty Old Spaniard and that kiss.
  3. Another measure of that cunt Howe is that he can be seen in the video applauding the shithouse foul by Gordon on Trent that led to the yellow and affected massively the subsequent flow of the match.
  4. Agreed. How many times have we seen the exact same foul on Mo, when we don’t even get a free kick, let alone see a card come out.
  5. Yup. With their consistent inconsistency, their petty vendettas, their back covering, their frequent egregious errors and their total lack of accountability and humility, they get exactly the respect they deserve. Zero.
  6. This. If he gets that decision right, there’s no yellow card, there’s no confected controversy about a second yellow for Trent for the foul on Gordon (the kind of foul that’s committed on Mo ten times every game with no punishment), no massive pressure on Trent from the rabid home crowd and possibly no mistake by him on their goal because his head was all over the place at that time.
  7. Scored a good breakaway goal after having had 12( Twelve) % possession. Moyesball
  8. That’s your view, fair enough. I was going to challenge you to name a specific decision of his which was clearly wrong or even slightly dubious which favoured us, but instead I’ll just post this from the very thorough Tompkins analysis which has been linked elsewhere….. ‘ On his own, Greater Manchester’s Paul Tierney has only given three subjective calls in 18 Liverpool games as a VAR … each to disallow a Liverpool goal or rule out a Liverpool penalty due to a subjective decision. Add those to his worrying on-pitch ref data, and no wonder Jürgen Klopp seems to have a massive problem with him. Prior to the moment when Tierney’s assistant elbowed Andy Robertson at half-time against Arsenal, Tierney had done 21-and-a-half games as a Liverpool as ref and 18 as VAR, and given zero Big Decisions for the club in that time (the one sending off for an opponent was by the VAR, Michael Oliver, who got Tierney to overturn a yellow for a last-man foul at Stamford Bridge and make it a red).’ you make a great point about the frequency with which he referees us. He and Taylor reffed 25% of our games last season IIRC, even though they represent about 10% of the referees roster. That’s without adding in their VAR appearances.
  9. We’ll it’s just a bit weird then that he’s at his most incompetent when he’s refereeing us and his incompetence is invariably to our disadvantage.
  10. Rookie ref makes egregious error. It happens. Experienced ref in VAR with benefit of replays and multiple angles fails to point out the clear and obvious error. Just the latest example of Tierney’s blatant bias.
  11. You’ve got to play to the whistle but how can 2 full time professional officials not see Sterling holding Paqueta’s arm and shirt. PL officiating has to be seen to be believed.
  12. Do we have ANY games where those two cunts have no involvement? Between them they refereed 25% of our games last season, IIRC, which is totally disproportionate to the number of refs on the PGMOL roster.
  13. I stand corrected, Konate didn’t actually get booked. However only Taylor knows why he didn’t book Gallagher for hacking down Mac and stopping a dangerous attack or why he booked Jota for having the temerity to get clattered by Fernandez and having the latter thrust a head in his face.
  14. So, like, maybe he’s,like, not in the best place, like, but he deserves to be, like, the best version of himself, because he’s, like, on a journey.( Couldn’t quite shoehorn ‘lived experience’ in there).
  15. He is neither world class nor worth £115m. Mind you, someone in one of these threads described James and Colwill(!) as £100m players in the last couple of days, so who knows what the benchmark is now.
  16. Those stats are mostly a nonsense. You could hit the woodwork 15 times but the stats would suggest you never looked like scoring
  17. No, just two, where there’s a wealth of concrete evidence to support the assertion. The rest are crap. The two, who I don’t even have to name are both crap and biased.
  18. And if Mo hadn’t been a whisker offside, we go 2-0, we’re already well on top and possibly go on to win by three of four. Agree totally about the penalty. Taylor was an absolute cunt in the second half. If Trent’s booking is the standard, we should expect to see loads for our opponents at Anfield? Yeah, right. Ibou gets booked for legging up Jackson 70 yards from our goal, but Gallagher doesn’t get booked for taking out Mac A who’s leading a threatening counter deep in their half? Bent Manc cunt.
  19. Quite bizarre that neither ref nor linesman gave that, when it was totally clear cut in real time.
  20. Anthony Taylor, is it? How many free kicks against us? My money’s on 18.
  21. Watched thd first half, noteworthy only for horrendous goalkeeping on both goals. Currently watching our u18s, it’s on a completely different level. (We have some exciting kids in this team and that’s without Doak)
  22. The same guy who said that Kane is making a mistake…..ie he should stay at Spurs, breaking records but winning nothing instead of guaranteed trophies, CL football and probably higher wages at Bayern. Genius
  23. These cunts have been watching too much PL. Yellow cards to one side only, offsides missed etc. Acclimatising us for August 13th.
