He definitely was a great liverpool player in his heyday, but I think it is a bit rich calling him a legend. You seriously can't tell me he belongs in the same bracket as Dalglish and Rushie can you? He was a very good player in an average Liverpool team. He fucked us over when he left but he lost more from it than us. He sat on a bench in Madrid then got injured for two years while we were in Istanbul and Athens. I think Torres is the best since fowler because of the goals he scores. Owen was good but overrated imho. The most league goals he ever scored was 19 (as stated above) which will be beaten by torres if he gets two more. This is phenomenal when you consider his age and also that he is in a foreign country playing a new style of football. I think this is just the beginning, he will score more and more as he gets older.
