  1. Lucas was playing as the deepest of the central pairing, surely the one playing in the more advanced role should have been the more creative?? Of course this point is obsolete since the ball constantly by passed the midfield anyway.
  2. thats harsh on a kid playing out of position
  3. I'm happy but I won't swear eternal love to anyone, says Pepe Reina | Football | The Guardian
  4. it'll be the natural progression, no need to force it
  5. Half my works were off all last week with sickness - sack the fecking lot of em
  6. Put to bed by whom? Tony Barrett seems to think they both exist
  7. Dunno but 125 over 5 years = 25 per season plus all those where he sat on the bench and didnt actually get on the pitch (and in fairness the lad was actually quoting the last two full seasons, so maybe not bollocks at all )
  8. I read on another site that Danny has been involved in nearly 80% of the games that Pepe, Carra, Lucas and Dirk have been involved in over the last two years so if true hardly as injury prone as you imagine.
  9. but he doesnt apologise, he just regrets blaming us
  10. so Ryan deleted his link are you going to do the same?
  11. bloody hell 63% on here, it must be nearing 80% everywhere else

Because saying short term is lower risk - deep down everyone wants Kenny to smash it in the short term and then take us on to a long, glorious future
  14. all I could think as he was lining up to take that free kick was how bow legged he was
  15. No, imagine how much more we'd hoof it if he was in the side but then again imagine how many balls he'd win when we do hoof it
  16. Hmm didnt realise they all had the same agent but Pepe is a strong character so will hopefully do his own thing in the end. That said I've had a strong feeling for a long while now that Pepe wont be here next season if Roy is still here. I still hold on to the belief however that fresh impetus from a new manager and new investment in the playing staff will encourage Pepe and even Fernando to give it another season.
  17. Pepe hasnt refuted the stuff in the Daily Mail (lots of quotes in that piece)- Roy spoke about it but didnt dismiss it out of hand. You only have to look at Pepe to know there is an element of truth in this. It wil be interesting to see if Pepe speaks out after this latest article. In my opinion though I really believe he will go if Roy stays.
