Just finished 'The Drop' by Connelly. Not one of the better Bosch books but I still enjoyed it, finished it in 3 sittings.

Like others, any book I like gets boxed off in less than a week. Others can take a few weeks. Bosch gets finished in a few days. Currently reading Gerry Blayney's 'In The Blood' which will be finished in the next couple of days (started it over the weekend) which is good considering I've had loads on recently.

I've got a good head of hair but would deffo go down the Rooney route if I went bald. I'd look shit with a skin head, wouldn't suit it at all.

I was 18 and working at a factory in Huyton. Had this area to myself and had a CD on as I usually did. This big old grizzled scouser called 'Ace' (because he was shit at everything) came in and stuck the radio on and said "World War 3's just started". I finished at 5, watched the news for a few hours then went to the Boavista game.

Just moved to Abu Dhabi and the hotel I'm in for the next few months has got a 24 hour cricket channel. Just watched our first innings on it, well made up. It's showing the upcoming India v South Africa and Bangladesh v Australia series too.

I'd be tempted to try Moeen Ali as an opener going forward, with Rashid at 8. Ali seems wasted batting so low and he's opened in the one day team. Couldn't be worse than Lyth could he.
