  1. Adam Lallana is mid-sentence discussing Liverpool’s journey to the brink of European glory under Jurgen Klopp when the interview is gate-crashed. His manager appears at the locked balcony door outside of an upstairs Melwood meeting room, gesturing to be allowed in to say his piece. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/lallana-would-want-leave-liverpool-11341580
  2. If anything Rodgers made the club money, first summer the fees were covered by big earners leaving.Second summer we made a lot of tv money as we were always on tv and the third season the sales covered what we spent. We should be able to spend 200m this summer if we wanted to, the owners are either not putting any money in or Klopp isn't getting the players he should be getting.
  3. What do you disagree with? It's a fact that money hasn't been spent and it should be availble for Klopp. This summer it looks like we will get more money in than we spend. The only scenarios I see are the owners plan to sell and have chose not to spend, they are staying and Klopp is going along with whatever they say or the money is there but Klopp can't get the players we should be getting.
  4. We've been saving money up for players who we can't sign without cl since Rodgers took over.At the end of his first window he said he could sign a 40m player if he wanted but it was about the quality, the next summer we spent 20-30m net and last summer our buys were covered by the players we sold. There should have been about 100m available before the new tv deal and before sales, I don't see the problem with signing top players on big wages.Sturridge and Milner already get a good wage and if the players worth it what's the problem, the other players can prove themselves as top players and can then ask for the same money. The strategy we are using is not going to get us to where we want to be, I hope the reason we are not spending is because the owners are planning to sell up soon.If not Klopp is either a yes man or is hopeless in the transfer market.
  5. You said yourself he played there next to Shelvey against Sunderland, Rafa was the manager for that game.Im certain it was the case as I watched the game and remember thinking at the start its the first time I've ever seen him play there.
  6. He actually did play in a 2 for Newcastle, Rafa played him there at the end of the season.I saw the game, he was poor and was taken off in the second half. I agree with you that he's not what we need in that position, he and Can will get overrun in midfield against decent opposition.I do think he'll do a decent job in a 3 man midfield or maybe even further forward, we should have signed someone who can control a game for the cm position though.
  7. Your entitled to your view but I don't agree.I don't think we were fooled in to believing his tactics played a big part the season we challenged, I don't think the 6-1 proved his time was up, I don't care what a manager says in a press conference and don't think Rodgers said much if anything wrong.I also don't care what he did with his backroom staff. Klopp deserves support and all I have said is my gut feeling is telling me he's not going to win a title here.I didn't want Rodgers sacked after one bad season so I definetly don't want Klopp sacked before he's had a season with his own signings.Right now things don't look great so unlike others I can't just think things are ok because of Klopp, hopefully Klopp has a good plan and when we see his team play everyone will be a lot happier.
  8. Maybe at the start I didn't like him because we got rid of Rodgers for him, now I wouldn't take Rodgers back if Klopp was sacked so I don't think it is the reason.I didn't agree with things he did last season and don't like what he's done in the transfer market, part of me does think I'm being harsh on him and if I am it's because the Europa league final is fresh in my mind and it overshadowed the good work he did do. I'm hoping next season after some good results I start to see the positives again, right now I'm not loving his personality like others and I prefer a tactical manager to one who's biggest asset is man management.
  9. There's been two different views expressed on the last few pages, one is from fans and the other is from trolls or mancs.Ill let people decide for themselves who's who. One view is from people who liked an ex manager and don't like to see LFC fans taking the piss out of people who gave their all for the club. The other view is from people who forced an old manager out, constantly took the piss out of him and they continue to do so showing no respect. They now champion a man who has done worse than the last manager, when it looks like he's doing strange things they support him with blind faith. It looks pretty clear to me who's who, Im starting to think these people may be mancs as the things they like and support do not seem to benefit the club.
  10. Yeah it is an excellent signing, I can't think of a player that good who's played in Scotland for a long time.Im happy for Kolo as he will be a legend over there and will win some trophies.
  11. England should be getting to the quarters atleast under any good manager, win the group and then beat a weak nation in the last 16.Ive always said I rate Sam so it should come as no surprise that I think he will do well with England. He is excellent tactically and is similar to Rafa and Jose, an ex West Ham player was saying the other day how he leaves no stone unturned and the England players will know everything about the team and players they are facing before the game. I expect England to play more like West Ham than Bolton, they'll play good football but if there's an opportunity to cross or if they need to go long at the end of a game they will.Seeing as the English league is known as the most physical maybe it will be better to play to the players strengths instead of trying to play better teams at their own game. Rafa said when he took over at Newcastle there isn't much difference between competing at the top and bottom of the league, you have to keep the players motivated and every game has to be treated like a final.Sam has done very well in those high pressure games at the end of the season working with poorer players than his rivals, he also won't accept players not giving their all for England. I know I'm fighting a losing battle trying to convince those who don't rate him anyway, even if he wins every game in qualification and gets to the quarters fans will still say he didn't do enough and wasn't the right choice.
  12. I accepted he was leaving months ago so I'm not that pissed about it, my prediction from months ago still stands.Allen will come back with his new team and will school our midfielders.
  13. England will get to the quarters atleast under Sam, good appointment and his contract will get extended.
  14. Now you know how I feel, I get called delusional about things I've been right about. Also your right about Captain, he's a prick. 6th
  15. I know mate, some people are obsessed. No matter what I say all they think about is how I supported the last manager.People are taking the piss about things and then are saying the same things themselves, laughable.
  16. Wow, I should stop supporting the club because I'm not happy with the signings and because the manager didn't win me over last season. Why didn't all of you who didn't like he last manager leave when he was here, he was trolled mercilessly and people called for him to be sacked daily, I haven't said that once about Klopp.Looking at the transfer thread it seems most have the same opinion about the transfers this summer as me, are they all cunts? I didn't say any of the things you said I've said, I have no problem with a manager picking and selling the players he wants to and that was what happened with Agger. If anyone had a problem with what Rodgers did then surely they have the same problem with what Klopp did with Skrtel. Now I remember why I stopped getting involved in the debates about Rodgers, people can't accept facts.People are taking the piss out of things Ive said and are saying the same thing, it seems people on here listen to the majority even when the facts tell them the majority is wrong.

  18. So you saw the article where Agger was talking about certain things, you wanted to go somewhere and read nothing but positive things about him.Maybe you should find a Daniel Agger fan site. People are discussing the things he said in that interview, if you look back you will see I replied to someone who said he was saying he didn't have a good relationship with the manager because of the reasons he gave.Others including myself have given their views on his opinion, I bet you would have had no problem if the whole thread was discussing the same thing but everyone was on Aggers side.
  19. No thanks, the ones who were wrong thought I was saying something else. Its been discussed since and the proof is there for all to see about what my point was, the ones trying to carry on talking shit about it are those who get hurt when people they love at the club get criticsed.A better example would be the Rodgers thread where there is people taking the piss out of Rodgers for certain things but will praise Klopp for doing the same things worse.
  20. Those comments are embarrassing from Agger and he should have kept them to himself.Hes getting beasted by Bony and the manager asks the cbs to get closer to Swanseas main threat.Agger stands up and says they were doing what the manger was telling them to do in training, seriously? He then comes out for the second half, continues to play shit and when he gets subbed thinks it's because of his comments at half time. Some people just can't accept when they are in the wrong, maybe Agger would have preferred it if Rodgers had a cuntish side and embarrassed him in front of everyone in the dressing room.
  21. Neither am I really as I already know the answer. Before everyone starts jumping on Rodgers back I just thought I'd remind everyone that Klopp got rid of another player who gave his all after one bad game.
  22. Skrtel has contributed far more than Klopp and was treated far more harshly.Im interested to see who's side fans will be on over this as if they feel Rodgers was wrong then Klopp has behaved even worse.
  23. When he made mistakes and he was dropped or the manager criticised him he wasn't happy.Sounds like the problem was him and not the manager.
  24. His opinions seem more logical than most on here, he was one of those who wasn't a fan of Rafa and didn't like the style of football.Rodgers came in and gave us the best football in the league and a title challenge. Seeing as one of the main reason fans wanted Rafa out was because of his style of football there should be a lot of fans who were happy with the improvement under Rodgers and didn't want to go back to the days of playing like an underdog. Most of those fans seem to have changed their opinion or have been brain washed by the majority.
  25. Don't be worried mate, I know I have a good record of being right but I said my thoughts on Klopp are not a prediction. As for Smilez post that's a perfect example of the nonsense said by the people who don't like Rodgers.Listing players who were finished and critisicing him for getting rid, challenging for the title is not an achievement and apparently he made the squad worse. You lot can keep rewriting history but I'll look at the facts, Rodgers got us back near the top end of the table playing excellent football while he was working in difficult circumstances. The man you were all calling for couldn't better his worst season and the hope for next season is we can match Rodgers worst season and challenge for a cl spot.
