  1. Ask him why he felt it neccesary to play pass the penny, whilst our team constantly under achieved during his time at the club. Call him a fat bastard while your at it.
  2. If he called us a bunch of cuntgoats I'd let him off, purely for originality.
  3. Never been fully convinced by his tache though if I'm honest. He would never have made a Liverpool midfielder in the eighties with that feeble effort.
  4. Unbelievable, Just goes to show the lengths the media will go to to suit their agenda. Despite the fact that Redknapp clearly states he's not saying Rafa was wrong Sly Sports go with the headline they wanted anyway. Beauts.
  5. Maybe it could do with a bit of fine tuning before being unleashed on the good people of TLW  .
  6. I was thinking the same thing, why is Hitler only at the middle of the scale?
  7. That's because you live in St Albans lad. Come up to Merseyside and see what people think of her round here. Considering you're a Liverpool supporter, you seem fairly oblivious to the culture and values of the people that herald from there both in a sporting and none sporting context. If you're a Thatcherite then fair enough, that is your opinion and whilst I disagree with it, it's your right, but to say you don't get why she is hated shows a complete lack of understanding/regard for the suffering and hardship she forced on many people on Merseyside.
  8. Fucking hell Rash, you really know how to endear yourself to Liverpool supporters and the people of Merseyside don't you?
  9. Another good article from Barret, I've been a fan of his since he made a stand against Parry during the ticket fiasco last season. He writes about issues that are important to the supporters and is not afraid to challange the club on certain issues. Hope he goes for Bascombe's job because the Echo is not worth buying when Prentice is reporting on us.
  10. I was thinking on Friday night that I'd have taken a draw from that game as it's a tough place to go and a draw is a respectable result. I believe we should take nine points from our next three league games, if we do that, and it's a big if, then we can look back on todays result as a point gained. On the subject of Rafa's team selection, I have no problem with him leaving Gerrard on the bench. The lad has just played two games on his return from injury and was probably in need of a rest. The team is pretty much the one I expected, my only gripe is not selecting Torres. One of him and Gerrard should always play and we really missed his pace in attack. That said eleven points from five games is a good enough start and we need to build on that by beating Birmingham, Wigan, and Spurs in our next three games.
  11. I don't give a fuck about England in any way, shape or form. However yesterdays team was one of the least offensive they've fielded for some time as there were only four complete beauts on the pitch. Terry, Ferdinand, and the two Coles. Usually there's at least six or seven in the team.
  12. He is mate. I watch him every week. I don't want to sound like a Riise basher because I like him and think he's a good squad player but his crosses rarely beat the first man and his free kicks tend to go straight into the wall. Please don't use a couple of pre season goals as evidence for your argument because when it comes to competative matches his free kicks are by and large shit.
  13. Tony Barrat wrote an article saying something similar on the Echo website recently. This is a massive test, they took points off United and were unlucky to lose against Chelsea. Utaka worries me for them, stong, powerful and an eye for goal. I hope Carragher is fit because that lad could give Sami the run around.
  14. To say he is back to his best is premature. He took his goals well but like I said earlier when he plays, he scores. We will only know he's back to his best if he stays fit for the rest of the season and I don't think that's very likely.
  15. Reina Arbeloa Carra Agger Riise Pennant Sissoko Alonso Benayoun Crouch Torres
  16. When he plays he scores goals simple as that really, but how often does he play and how often do you think he'll play this season? My answer to both would be very little. Time will tell I suppose.
  17. He hit it well like, but it was terrible goalkeeping.
  18. Get on to Hansen's face tonight, he had so much make up on he looked like a goth. I might have to start calling him Marilyn Hansen.
  19. Pet Sounds is one of the finest albums ever made and The Beach Boys are one of the best bands. I don't see the point in comparing them to The Beatles and then declaring them shite as you're talking about two great bands. Brian Wilson was a composer more than a song writer, a man who completely immersed himself in his music to the point of insanity. To suggest Pet Sounds is an aged album is a joke. The album was way ahead of it's time and was released before Sgt Pepper, which was in effect The Beatles (in my opinion, inferior) response to Wilson's masterpiece.
  20. I've heard that from a few people but you could have fooled me. Especially after his disgraceful report on the derby last season. He was as bitter as they come.
  21. Exactly the same as the McFadden one but O'Shea getting bummed instead. He likes his footballers that Will Young.
  22. Did he really? Ha-ha I buzz off that rumour, it always cracks me up. Did he start the John O'Shea one as well?
  23. The bitters sing a song about Arteta to that tune.
