Another good article from Barret, I've been a fan of his since he made a stand against Parry during the ticket fiasco last season. To say he is back to his best is premature. He took his goals well but like I said earlier when he plays, he scores. We will only know he's back to his best if he stays fit for the rest of the season and I don't think that's very likely.

Pet Sounds is one of the finest albums ever made and The Beach Boys are one of the best bands. I don't see the point in comparing them to The Beatles and then declaring them shite as you're talking about two great bands. Brian Wilson was a composer more than a song writer, a man who completely immersed himself in his music to the point of insanity. To suggest Pet Sounds is an aged album is a joke. The album was way ahead of it's time and was released before Sgt Pepper, which was in effect The Beatles (in my opinion, inferior) response to Wilson's masterpiece.
