  1. It was my first cry with Liverpool, cried next at Istanbul...
  2. i remember standing in my room at 3 30 am approx when he missed, jumping and swearing like anything, got a stern telling off from dad :P
  3. Change the time settings so that he has YNWA written next to the time at the bottom right corner. Remind him of the 81 cup win in Paris, that'd get you a reaction :D
  4. EEEEEEEEEEGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRR The cult hero, Igor Biscan :)
  5. Ronaldo Rooney Lampard Terry Rio / Adebayor / Brown / Neill / Diouf / and so on....
  6. This time next year, he qualifies as a home grown player for us.
  7. Would support us even if we end up in the conference. For the record, im an OOC, im 22, been a red for 10 years this season. Ive seen the treble and Istanbul at home. Being from India, its very difficult to come over and watch us over at Anfield, but Im saving up for it. In my 10 years, ive had seasons where they were so few matches on telly ( 99-01) that i used to read games on websites, then managed to get a friends EST to listen on there, and finally now we have all the games, ( more than the UK fans ) and hence ive only missed about 2-3 games under Rafas reign. In my timezone evening games start at 12-130 am in the morning which means its always no sleep that night as well. Whilst the frustration that OOTs get tickets easier than locals is understandable to an extent, but to divide fans based on location is just plain wrong. I feel im as much a red as a local. Ive read about the history, spoken to fans who have been around decades, watched the videos, included important events like Hillsborough in my life. ( Fast every year on the day as a mark of respect for the 96 ). Dont think I can ever not support Liverpool as long as i live. I can go on to say I got my first job because of my passion and enthusiasm for the reds as a large part of my interview went towards football and liverpool :)
  8. Good riddance, who are we replacing him with?
  9. If he goes there, and gets paid 500k a week, Robinho himself will go and ask demand a similar package, eventually, their weekly salary would run into hundreds of millions.
  10. Was just talking about the stupidest transfers with a mate, wasnt it rumored that Moyes signed him when he wanted to actually sign Agger or something? And that he was scouted over youtube? Any truth in that?
  11. Hammill is back now, if Rafa thinks Hammill can do the job El Zhar has been doing, and rates him higher than Nabil then he may replace him with Hammill in our bench...
  12. We still have more World Cups than you though..... Any how, everyone has a right to their opinion, however deluded it might be...
  13. True, it might take long, I know the clubs coming in are not purely for the football side of it as well, which is fine as long it helps both sides. India does have more people than the USA and Australia put together though  What irked me was the naivety with which remark was made on the previous page, you want the club to make inroads into the world market, well, they have to give something in return too.
  14. Hmm, Interesting viewpoint there. Its not like being 6+ ft tall with a proper set of fucking feet is helping the English out, the PL after all is being dominated by players from other countries more than the talented English. But, to lower this to that debate would be unfair, its the first step the club has taken to finally make use of the global reach it has had for decades. India, along with China is the biggest financial market available for football, and to do that, to gain a foothold, such initiatives are a must. It creates brand awareness in the region and also enables the club to pioneer development of the sport which in turn would give LFC a much larger fanbase in India. Football is a popular sport in this country, but the support given to it by authorities and corporates alike has been nothing when compared to cricket. But the talent is there, it needs such initiatives to develop itself into a better end product for the football industry here. I can vouch for it a lot more than the lad who thought itd be funny to make a racist joke over it as Ive watched the local league and have been following it on here for a while now... Either way, it gets the club a good revenue stream and if, 5-10 years down the line, India produces a gifted lad, the club could then benefit, albeit to the surprise of a lot of its great 'fans'
  15. Did Signing Larsson make United look desperate? Does signing Beckham for 3 months make Milan look desperate? Jesus Christ, some people just like being against the tide aye?
  16. Makes me happy though, if cunts like these can get jobs as Journos, I ought to get in when I apply for my post grad...
  17. Takes the mind back to Arsenal home last season, brought back too soon then and was out for another spell, no chance Rafa would take such a risk....
