The lads should wear T shirts about the 96 when they walk out and another one inside their jerseys which they can show at the end of the 90. Both sets can later be auctioned off and the proceeds given to HFSG. Also, a little emblem saying JFT 96 on the shirt like we have markers for Cup finals wouldn't hurt.

Riot control is something every police force in the world ought to be trained for, and be ready for at such events, knowing fair well that this is Drogba's home coming there could be trouble. Whilst your right about the partial information, the dig at the public seems like distancing themselves from the situation, and thats just piss poor from the authorities. Fifa will distance themselves, call it an internal matter, the FA will blame the public, and itll get lost in between...

No one ever blames the poor security arrangements which let these people get in, disrespecting the dead by blaming it all on the ticketless fans, why do you have security at public gatherings? to prevent such incidents, its sad to see that 20 years since Hillsborough, the same trend is continuing across the globe. Here in India, on ESPN we had a certain Steve Mcmahon and Gerry Armstrong and Jamie Reeves. For an Ex Red, Mcmahon is a bitter cunt, he never gives Rafa any chance before the game only to eat humble pie, Armstrong said that our lineup looked like we were happy with a draw, their predictions were 2-1, 3-1, 2-0 to united. At half time, Armstrong and Mcmahon still went Uniteds way while Reeves said liverpool will hold on to the win. McMahon has an agenda against Benitez, its so evident, in the 500 Liverpool goals clip, theres one where he scampers across 50 yards or so to save the ball from going out and then sets up a goal, putting in the work rate of a Kuyt, and now he slates Kuyt week in week out, its just pathetic. Cunt.
