  1. Agreed - I think RBS will only look at administration if the sale does not go through ie they will wait until the legal dispute is concluded provided its only a matter of weeks. I think if the yanks lose and then appeal, RBS will sit tight and await the outcome so long as it happens quickly.
  2. He's totally right and always calls it as it is. He calls a spade a spade and always has...will get that book.
  3. Generally speaking appeals dont seem to happen immediately after the original hearing...I'd expect 7 to 10 days later but could be wrong
  4. If Hicks loses he will appeal so this could go on for a few weeks yet. Would RBS put off administration until appeal is heard?
  5. Fantastic news if this all pans out and great to see the back of those two pricks. 300M does seem a bit low on the face of it but then it does incl 200M debt. Lets hope everything works out over the next couple of weeks. There is a suggestion that we'll have some funds to spend in Jan - I don't think Hodgson should be let spend anything significant at all as I don't expect or want him to be manager beyond the end of the season at the latest. Hopefully we can forget about all the off the pitch shit from now on and concentrate on the footie.
  6. The muppets in the board room will leave Woy the clueless cunt in charge for at least another 3 or 4 games. Woy out!
  7. Never thought things could be worse than under Rafa but they are and theyre not going to get any better IMO. We get worse by the week and will be in a fucking relegation battle soon if things dont change. Woy out!
  8. Exclusive: Hong Kong investor ‘leads Liverpool takeover race’ Share CommentsBy Michael Owen 6:52pm UK, Saturday September 11, 2010 By Michael Owen, 6:52pm UK, Saturday September 11, 2010 (Photo: Simon Cooper) A Hong Kong-based businessman is the main contender to takeover Liverpool Football Club, according to a source close to Barclays Capital. The Royal Bank of Scotland set a deadline of 6 October for club chairman Martin Broughton and Barclays Capital to find a new owner and bring an end to Tom Hicks and George Gillett’s Anfield tenure. With the deadline looming and a number of potential investors seemingly backing away from making an offer, many reports speculated the club were unlikely to find a new owner before the date. But a senior source close to Barclays Capital believes there to be some interest in the club, with “as many as five bidders at in-depth stages of due diligence” and a “Hong Kong-based investor leading the race” to take over at Anfield. The bank, however, appears unwilling to offer any financial support to the potential investors, with the source stating there is “no chance of Barcap becoming involved with the debt financing of any takeover”. However, Barclays Capital are reported to be becoming increasingly frustrated with the current owners. “Unrealistic valuations are driving us [barCap] insane,” said the source. The insider also accused the American duo of being “unreachable”.
  9. shit...sounds like youre talking about one of ours there :wallbutt:
  10. I presumed Shrek was one of the players wo had got an injunction...
  11. He has another season left but not as first choice. Every time he gets the ball he hoofs it aimlessly up the pitch and usually gives possession away. Hes also prone to heading the ball aimlessly when he actually has time to take it down and make a considered pass. Definite weakness in the team in terms of possession and creativity.
  12. Too many long aimless balls forward and unnecessary headers. We need to be getting the ball down and playing it on the ground.
  13. Club website is now saying that a fee has been agreed for Mash...anyone got any more details?
  14. Evans is a drama queen but I think he's not far off the mark this time. If there were really other serious bidders we'd have heard about it by now.
  15. For making us a worse team than when he took over with his brand of God awful mind numbing football. Am delighted to see the back of him (hope I'm not being too presumptious) but the future is very scary.
  16. Come on Chelsea!!!!!!!!!!!! For what I hope will the first and only time, I hope to God we lose today.
  17. We are in a worse position on and off the pitch now then when Houllier left. We are facing years of europa league irrelevance. Rafa should have been sacked in 2006, Moores is a retarded simpleton and the yanks are gold digging pricks.
  18. Who gives a shit if we win te Europa League?? I'd swap 4th in the league for a Europa league win anytime. Please God let fat cunt will be sacked for not qualifying for CL. We're no better now than we were under Dr Hou.
