  1. Difficult to say what causes people to lose their minds about immigrants and asylum seekers. Just another one of those unexplainable phenomena, I guess. Oh well.
  2. I'd imagine they knew damn well what was going to happen. It's the pretext for fighting an election on getting out of the ECHR so woke lefty laywers can't stop us protecing our borders etc.
  3. Seems the shadow cabinet feel the same way.
  4. Broken ribs. Currently nursing two of them, and having to absolutely wax the pain killers just to be able to breathe properly.
  5. The Labour right, as they're commonly known. All they do is wreck, even when they've been given the top jobs. Just the most undisciplined, unprofessional shitheads imaginable. Headline made me chuckle, tho, I have to admit.
  6. Hustle - sports drama starring Adam Sandler as a weary old basketball scout trying to get an unknown but talented player into the NBA. Formulaic stuff, but well done. 7/10
  7. Just kind of have to marvel at this faction of the party. Absolutely no discernible talent besides gossiping to the press and setting things on fire. And the best part is they'll 100% do it to the next guy, too. Incredible people. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/jun/14/stop-calling-me-boring-keir-starmer-tells-shadow-cabinet
  8. Dunno mate. The Times have been pushing great replacement theory for over a decade now, with one of their writers even managing to make it into the manifesto of one of the world's most notorious mass murderers. Haven't seen much reputational damage to either the writer or the paper on the back of that. Christ, she still has a weekly slot on Radio 4's moral maze. The influence of random Twitter nutters is absolutely tiny in comparison. And that's before you even get on to where the nutters are getting their information from (mostly the British press).
  9. Thank god the msm doesn't deal in lies or conspiracies. Could you imagine!
  10. So glad we avoided being governed by a party who were in cahoots with the Russians, as that would have been terrible.
  11. Maybe his appeal had something to do with media bullshit. Or maybe everyone was just really impressed when he drove that tractor through a polystyrene wall emblazoned with the words Get Brexit Done, then ran off and hid in a fridge. Difficult to say, really.
  12. Pouring one out for one of the greatest front-lines the game's ever seen. Can't quite get my head around it being over, tbh.
  13. I was referring to the four day week.
  14. Not sure why anyone would be against it (providing pay etc remains the same).
  15. Usually even the dumber Tories understand it's a bad idea to do this kind of thing in public. Hopefully we see a bit more, but I doubt we will.
  16. Be surprised if it's not her career up in flames, at the very least.
  17. Dorries going after Hunt like that is quite something. Be great if more got involved, but sadly there's probably only her who's that stupid.
  18. Fair enough. And agree he's a tremendous player, but can't see us going for him what with his age and cost.
  19. Have we actually been linked with him? And aren't his ankles about to wear out?
  20. Interesting to see who eventually replaces him. Another Brexity culture war dickhead, or one of those good Tories you keep hearing about. I suspect an election fought on competency/who's the best manager would be just about in Labour's favour, so maybe they'll go for another of the wingnuts and instead fight it on scrapping the human rights act and stomping on the transgenders. Either way, a lot to look forward to.
  21. Sadio's replacement and a top class midfielder should do the job, no?
  22. Baffling quotes, but not worth getting upset over, imo.
