  1. As I've said I don't really know, but what you've said makes sense to me.
  2. I'm only guessing but wouldn't the police investigate if anyone complained? I'm sure it was a member of the public who complained about John Terry's outburst at QPR and not Anton Ferdinand.
  3. Here you go mate. Rio Ferdinand calls Chris Moyles 'faggot' on Radio 1 | Media | MediaGuardian EDIT: I read this the other week and having read it again, I've realised it was from 2006.
  4. It is. Rio Ferdinand was it as well the other week and it shows a great of ignorance and prejudice.
  5. If he's a professional footballer, then the FA should charge him for that. However I won't hold my breath.
  6. Is that the first hat trick of his career?
  7. Six of us went to Benidorm last September for my mate's 40th. 5 of us were on the early flight and the last one joined us later because of work. Anyhoo, he said there was a girl on the flight from Liverpool to Benidorm wearing rollers. He couldn't believe it and neither could the rest of the flight.
  8. He was left out of the starting 11 today as well, apparently he failed a late fitness test. Which is normally a euphamism for 'can't be risked'. We were supposed to have bid for him in August.
  9. Please explain why you think it wouldn't help. As someone who is an expert in his field (hispanic studies) and is actually from Uruguay that would surely lend some weight to Suarez's argument. Suarez may have been in Europe for five years, but it doesn't mean he's forgotten how to speak. You do realise he was living in the Netherlands don't you?
  10. That is the funniest gif on the internet. He really is a fucking idiot.
  11. I remember in the early nineties having a conversation with someone, who at the time had a fairly senior position in the Foreign and Commonwealth office. He said he'd heard of plans in the '80s to deliberately run Liverpool down as the then Government wanted to use the port of Liverpool to bring in vasts quantities of nuclear waste to the country for treatment. I personally thought it was a bit far fetched and one for the tin foil hat brigade, but obviously not.
  12. I saw something on Christmas morning by ours, that makes that seem like the the height of style and sophistication. A woman in her 40's walking her dog along Priory Road in just a fluffly dressing with oddments of rollers in her hair. This was at 11am. I think it's fair to say we've scraped the bottom of the barrel in Anfield, well and truly.
  13. It's shite isn't? He starts by saying he knows fuck all about South American slang and culture and then just assumes that Evra took offence, just because he was black. Perhaps, considering Evra speaks Spanish well enough to insult in the language, he might know enough of the language to realise what Suarez said wasn't racist.
  14. Cantona twatting that fan at Palace and Ferdinand missing repeated drugs tests never did the mancs any harm.
  15. October and November were a wash out as I had pnuemonia and pleurisy. It was a nightmare and worrying as well as I've never been that sick before in my life. It's only the last couple of weeks that I've begun to get back to my old self.
  16. It made up for the fact that he lost Adebayor for the first goal.
  17. Why don't you just come out and say exactly what your real problem with the club is? You've constantly bitched about them in this thread and the new ground thread. So basically, what you're saying is that if Luis and the club had apologised prior to be charged and in the extremely unlikely event the Mancs had accepted then it would have been forgotten? Utter bollocks. The FA have backed themselves into a corner regarding race after what happened to Blatter and if they'd had just let Suarez and Evra effectively shake hands and make up, then they'd look extremely foolish as that was exactly what Blatter had been saying. Instead, the FA have adopted a fundamentalist approach to dealing with racism or perceived racism in an attempt to appear to be a leader in tackling the issue and to stick two fingers up FIFA and Blatter. They had no choice than to give Suarez a ban, and he's now the victim of the FA's vendetta against FIFA.
