Short term, Benteke while being crap is still our likeliest source of a goal so bring him on, try and play to his strengths. With Firmino we need technical buildup play to move the opposition aaround and create an opening, and sadly the current players are not good enough to do this. Longer term- pace. No pace apart from Ibe at the moment. A new keeper. Sorry, but for all the shot stopping (and even that's not great) the incumbent is just plain mediocre. A big lump at the back who can head a ball. A big lump on the middle who doesn't shit his pants at the thought of a challenge. A forward who makes runs. Build the passing players around that.

Not really fuming about that as it was so predictable. Love him as a player, but little doubt his best days are behind him. Klopp seems to want to honour the agreement made by his predecessor to allow Gerrard to train at LFC- good for him. My main worry is the media circus that will tag along. We finally have a united club and fanbase looking forward with some hope- we don't really need shit stirring by hacks - and there will be.
