  1. Lovely finish from Milner. Glad it fell to him and not Benteke.
  2. How many times have they played a simple one two to get past Moreno on the left? Is someone supposed to be helping him?
  3. Fuck me. Brain dead. Gets away with one then does it again.
  4. Short term, Benteke while being crap is still our likeliest source of a goal so bring him on, try and play to his strengths. With Firmino we need technical buildup play to move the opposition aaround and create an opening, and sadly the current players are not good enough to do this. Longer term- pace. No pace apart from Ibe at the moment. A new keeper. Sorry, but for all the shot stopping (and even that's not great) the incumbent is just plain mediocre. A big lump at the back who can head a ball. A big lump on the middle who doesn't shit his pants at the thought of a challenge. A forward who makes runs. Build the passing players around that.
  5. Not really fuming about that as it was so predictable. Until they scored we played well, Firmino showed some silky touches, Lucas won lots of headers, Can with a couple of good efforts, but we looked toothless up front. Average Adam was average as usual, but as a team we looked comfortable. The longer it went without scoring the more likely it was we would be done by a sucker punch and so it came to pass. Need a striker desperately. Even Shane Long.
  6. predictable. Huff and puff but no finishing up front.
  7. Deserved at least a draw from that. Should have been 3 if we had any sort of defence / keeper, but that point feels good! Is MOTD on tonight?
  8. What about that Italian feller with glasses who managed Milan? Capello I think his name was. I think he was a bit keener on strategy and not one for mollycoddling the players, no?
  9. That Allen miss sums us up really. Huff and puff, when we finally do get a chance we fuck it up 9 times out of 10. While the opposition cut through us at will and score with most of their chances. Dunno what the answer is. Rely on Klopp I suppose to turn it around slowly. The worry is he may think sod this I made a mistake taking this on and buggers off.
  10. Kinell! Bit of strength from Firminho tracking back. Shame he doesn't do that all the time.
  11. Lovren's actually playing OK. Big Ben's confidence is completely shot. That miscontrol on the edge of the box sums it up.
  12. Why is Benteke playing in slow motion?
  13. Good block by Moreno, although he did let Valencia go first. Again they are tackling hard and ref letting lot of them go. Our players need to learn that in the Premier league this is the sort of refereeing they will get, and they have to give it back. Well in Lucas.
  14. Benteke again! Needs some one on one practice.
  15. Ibe should have buried that. Typical Fat Sam bunch of cloggers- they've been playing rugby most of the second half.
  16. Benteke- WTF!!!!!! Never mind, 3 points will do nicely. As an aside, never thought I'd say this, but Lovren played well!
  17. As lazy and prone to being caught offside as he is, Benteke is still our most potent forward. Well in Ben.
  18. Hmmm. 2-0 Stoke. Not looking good for LVG.
  19. Need to get back to basics. Win the physical battle, then play the football. As Barnes was saying, for this Liverpool team to win they all need to play well, accurate passes, good movement, clinical finishing. When you're not firing on all cylinders you at least need to be hard to beat and not be outfought. Especially in this league.
  20. Well, we really are shit aren't we. Outmuscled, outfought, spineless pussies. That last Watford goal- somehow they had players in space and the passes went to the players in space. Don't know why we can't try that sometimes.
  21. I like Sakho but he should have been busting a gut getting back in case the striker was forced wide or there was a rebound or something- just saw the replay and he was sauntering back watching Skrtel fuck it up.
  22. Bit of luck at last. Not sure what tactics can do with a bunch of weak minded pussies.
  23. Oh hello- has the referee just disallowed that? Let off!
  24. Love him as a player, but little doubt his best days are behind him. Klopp seems to want to honour the agreement made by his predecessor to allow Gerrard to train at LFC- good for him. My main worry is the media circus that will tag along. We finally have a united club and fanbase looking forward with some hope- we don't really need shit stirring by hacks - and there will be. Ultimately, I'll trust Klopp's decision.
