  1. Is the correct answer. I never blubbed though because I am a real man...grrr Plenty of dust in my eye when I watched it
  2. One of the finest pieces of television ever made. Still good even now...... One Summer TV series (1983)
  3. And as it is just about to be released here I will repeat my review THE LOVELY BONES....one of the best films I have ever seen. A truly uplifting and gut wrenching experience. The type of film that movies were made for. Susie Salmon is a 14 year old girl who narrates the movie. She begins my mentioning that her murderer is a neighbour who has been watching her. She states that she is to be murdered and she is. A truly gut wrenching portion of the film. I was almost tempted to turn it off I found it that hard going. After her murder she is in between heaven and earth and has to decide whether to encourage her family to get her killer or whether to help the family heal after the grief. Stunning. Absolutely stunning film making. 10/10
  4. Dead Snow...a Norweigan horror flick involving young uns going to a cabin for a break, snow, and Nazi Zombie. Great gore etc 6.5/10
  5. Ahhhh eating cigarettes in the night.....
  6. Ahhhh Series 3....the series with Salma Hayek's chest.....too bad Jack loses her
  7. What the scene in the bunker with her killer when she realises that something is wrong. You would have to be inhuman not to find that tough going. And it was an amazing film despite being neither gay nor a woman

  9. Everytime there is a buzz on the interwebs about a new invention being announced I get excited and I hope that it will be the ultimate invention. But time after time I am left disappointed as they have still not invented this Now scientists...stop all that pointless shit like trying to cure cancer and aids and invent the fucking hovverboard you twats....
  10. Blood Creek... a nice twist on the standard fare of backwoods Yankie imbreds hurting travellers. Nice Nazi overtones with runes and such like. Some nice gore. No boobs so only 6.5/10
  11. Dirk is a different player when he plays in the middle up front. He does not have the pace or the skill for the wide right role. Up front he ties up two or three defenders on his own. Also he is a better finisher than people give him credit for. Carragher was immense tonight....a performance that he owed the team, the fans and himself
  12. I don't know what you ladies are whinging about. That is football the way it should be played. Back in the 1970s to get sent off someone had to hit someone with a shovel. That is how real men play. The Premier League would be much better if we re-introduced those standards.....whilst shouting "YOu are in Sparta!!!"
  13. The shit and sweater gag actually belongs to Spike Milligan and I first heard it in the 80s
  14. Christ this is an awful game to watch....its liek watching Wimbledon circa 1987. If lose one goal here we will fold
  15. I might be interested in two tickets for the Stoke game
  16. IS correct. Alien 3 is more inkeeping with Alien. Aliens is good but sticks out like a sore thumb. It is essentially a Vietnam War film in space. Entertaining certainly but not as good as 1 or 3. Although 4 is a pile of dung
  17. Its Complicated....enjoyable and harmless. Baldwin is great especially the laptop scene. Steve Martin has had bad plastic surgery. 6/10 Whip It...a great film. Young girl, coming of age etc ..roller derby....Juliette Lewis looking ropey. Kristen Wiig superb as ever...8/10
  18. I thought that it was very average. The banter and relationship between Holmes and Watson did not wirk. RDJ who is normally very good was cringeworthy with his English accent. The plot was not much of a plot. The CGI was very ropey. 5/10
  19. Absolutely by far the greatest Dr Who story. Clearly exploring the Nazi overtones of the Daleks. And how, like the Daleks, great evil is often born of desperation, fear, and the feeling of hoplesness. Also the quandry of whether you can kill a species because in the future they might be bad. I disagree aboutthe cheat effects and hammy acting. It is these qualities which turn good SCi Fi into absolutely brilliant Sci Fi. For proof see Star Trek TOS.
  20. Patrick Moore Thatcher Max Bygraves Prince Phillip Mickey Rooney David Attenborough or Richard preferbaly
  21. If this happens I will show my arse in the windows of Woolworths...and I am aware that Woolworths no longer exists. Thats how confident I am
  22. Actually I think the full backs have been our biggest problem this year. They are both defensively suspect and their positional sense is weak. By them I mean GJ and Insua. They are too reckless in going forward and leave us exposed and hence the shoddy defence. Don't get me wrong GJ looks good going foward for a defender. But not by the standards of an 18m midfielder. So he is one of those attacked full backs that is not too notch defensively but is superb going forward for a defender but not for a midfielder. I would rather have spent 5m on a jobbing right back and 13m on a good wide midfielder
