The chance where they hit the bar should've been a better chance than it was. I’d be fuming if we failed to score from that. I’ve no interest in how xG works to define a number against that chance cause I’m not a stats nerd but they should have scored from that. they were well on top for the opening 20 minutes and we were lucky to be level. from then on, they didn’t really trouble us but - the Trent shot that hit the bar aside - we did absolutely nothing ourselves so it felt more one sided overall than it was. second half we were the better side in a close game and deserved to win.

There’s no sense of one setting a bar or being compared to the same standard for the other. it’s just two separate decisions the ref on the field was overruled on by busy body VARs and I disagree with them both.
