Tony Le T was a good shout for man of the match, he might not look the part with his rosy cheeks and looking like a beanpole, but the kid put in a great display fully worthy of his place in the side. But Finnan again was outstanding he has come on leaps and bounds this season, him and carra have been awesome. shame to concede an away goal, but i can see us scoring over there so bring on munich in the semis. as much as id love to beat that smug twat mourinho, id hate the prospect of being beaten by them again this season. but lets see how we fair in turin first. hopefully alonso to make his return on another memorable euro night for the mighty reds.

im getting sick of all the shit with stevie and all the rumours that keep being banded about. at the end of the day no matter what is said we will have to wait until the summer and see what happens. if he is defo staying then rather than avoiding the question, he should come straight out and say it now. but as long as he gives 100% and wears his heart on his sleeve then i couldn't give a shit what is said. people should get off his case and let him get on with doing what he does best, and that is driving the team. although he has gone missing in a lot of games this season, without him things would be very dire. like pedant says we need to be behind him 100% as well.

biscan has shown what he is capable of when he has been given the chance this season. it looked like rafa had brought the best out of him, it will be sad to see him go before salif. but we need to start getting rid of the dead wood at anfield, and sadly igor probably falls under that category. rafa is still having to juggle a team that isn't his own, we are gonna have to let players leave to fund the players that rafa wants to bring in. surely if we want to build and strength the team to mount a serious title push we need better back up than igor.
