  1. i guess that one is aimed at me. don't think you understood me. i'll make it clear. bu united's standards their actual standard of football this season has been piss poor. Which is frightning considering they were still fighting on 5 fronts until last week. my point was, that i can't see their standard of football being as poor. Therefore making it tougher for us to run them as close for the league.
  2. i think next season will be a lot tougher. Arsenal have had more than their fair share of injuries to key players which has seriously hindered them. Chelsea have been piss poor by their standards and so have united. Although stevie and nando have been in out and out of the side at times due to niggling injuries, i don't think we have seriosuly suffered as a result. Its our failure to kill of teams earlier in the season which has been our main downfall. United and Chelsea are surely not gonna have another piss poor season, arsenal would be seriously unlucky to suffer the same amount of injuries again. so i think next season will be tough. Top 4 guaranteed, but by no means should we get carried away thinking its a guaranteed top 2. (i hope i get to eat my words)
  3. to be fair, he was extermley quiet (apart from the four goals). Some dick emailed skysports news saying he basically bummed us and dominated the game. That has got to be the most weird game for one player to score 4 goals in (he most of gone home wondering how the fuck did that happen?) Over the course of the game he didnt cause us problems, chances were handed on a plate to him. But fair play can't take anything away from his finishing, pure class!
  4. totally agree, on his day he has been our best left sided player for years. But lacks consistencey which is a dissapointment. Think he certainly has a future with us but with babel on his way out, we certainly need to strengthen that area in the summer.
  5. i think it is over. i was full of confidence thinking we could win all our last 6 games, but we looked dead on our feet when they went 3v2 up. Fair play we came back and got a draw, but i can see last night really knocking the lads for 6.
  6. i had a day off work and was sleeping on the sofa. woke up and flicked on sky sports news, and thought i was still asleep dreaming when i saw the news. free kick against scum with schiemcel routed sticks in my mind.
  7. i loved robbie so much, i wanted to call my son robert bernard. the missus was having none of it. believe she slept in the spare room for weeks. fucking women
  8. couldn't agree more he was forced out but like you say, if it wasn't for those injures.... i loved it when we re-signed him but again that was beacuse it was 'god's' home coming'. based on what he had achieved after he left us, if it had been any other player we would have been spitting feathers.
  9. for robbie leeds was a bad move, but when you look back it was probably a good deal for us. i never wanted him to leave, but that was more due to sentiment more than anything else. £11m was a good deal looking back.
  10. i love robbie to bits like and his book is a good read, but how many times does he say summat along the lines of 'i came from nothing, little robbie ryder to this......'? He seems to play on it a bit like. but i love him so fuck it who cares.
  11. what the fuck? just switched on the ressies game and witnessed the worst attempt to clear the goalmouth ever
  12. 3 v 0 - lucas hat-trick. seriously, we need to go in to this game with exactly the same attacking minded approach as we have done of late. If we get at them from the start I can see us winning comfortably. hopefully torres for the hat-trick. I'd love it if he won the golden boot this year after his stop-start season.
  13. i am surprised the twat has any respect for himself. however, as much as i hate slur alex. Doesn't every liverpool fan see all his bitching and moaning about rafa as a positive? if we were chasing 4th place, would he even be wasting his breath talking about rafa? I doubt it! He is absolutley shitting himself that this supposed greatest team (since 1999) that was going to win all 5 trophies, could be left with 2 out of 5. how stupid will he look if we knick the title, especially when it is theirs to lose and chelsea are their biggest threat!!
  14. spot on. fergie is actually paying us a lot of respect in a weird kind of way. the fact he keeps dismissing our title chances, slagging off rafa and biggin' up chelsea speaks volumes.
  15. while we are at it, anyone got a spare for Hull away?
  16. where did this ze_realist study law? Even if he thought it was liverpool fans who were to blame, to label us thugs, bums and scumbags (all wearing red), is nothing short of vile, vindictive, hate filled, need I go on? Another example of ignorant society forming their opinion based on the lies that the s** peddled.
  17. Totally agree with you mate. How any chelski fan can hold their head up high waving those sad flags around is beyond me. fucking losers. same nobheads that booed their team off at half-time, even though they were still through at that point.
  18. i can see why your pissed off mate. but seriously get a grip lad, you can't make pepe the scapegoat. yes, it was his mistake more than Gus' half-time team talk that got chelsea fired up. But you can't lay the blame solely with him. the ref was shocking last night, drogba is a fucking prick and they totally bummed us at anfield. That's what lost us the game.
  19. Meaningless? Are you insance? How many mancs do you reckon are saying that winning the title is meaningless to them after we embarrased them? Probably none. And while i am at it, was the 2005 champions legaue meaningless? Because no matter how well we played and the fight and spirit we displayed, we were far from being the best team in europe that year!! 5th in the league and 30-odd points behind chelsea. No trophy is meaningless, get a grip!
  20. yeah your right, it shouldn't just be lucas that's singled out. However, last night summed him up no end. He is out of his depth. He is too lightweight, gets caught in possession fat too often. When he loses the ball, how often do you see him chasing it down and winning it back? His distribution sucks ass. I have read previous quotes from Rafa, saying he is versatile and can play as in an attacking role, box to box etc. (what a load of bollocks) Someone was winding Rafa up when they said he was the next best thing. Kinda reminds me of Igggoooorrr (a legend in his own right, even though he was dire). Wasn't he talked up as then next Zidane, and ended up being worse than robbie savage.
  21. Diouf without a doubt, the dirty little twat and the cheek that he had to slate the way the club was run and how there were little groups that just stuck together and didnt mix. bitter!! Maybe not hate, but Cisse comes quite close to me hating him. after seeing him suffer a career threating injury and one that nearly lost him his leg, i was really desperate to see him do well after the commitment he showed in coming back to the team so early after his injury. To see him work his bollocks off and bag 20 this season would have been just rewards. but the fact is he hasnt worked his bollocks off, people may say he hasnt has a consistent run in the side and hasnt always had the same strike partner or has played out on the right. but fuck me even when you take that in to consideration he has been shite. he is lazy, moans gets caught offside too often he just hasn't repaid the faith that has been shown in him and yesterday what a nob. So id say diouf is the only one i've hated, but cisse comes very close.
