Does Kuyt only play well, when the team does well though?? i'll probably get slated for this, but.......has stevie played bang on for the full 9-10 months of the season and does he actually get us out of the mire every time we are playing shite? I think not. There was a brief period allbeit a few games, where stevie looked absolutley fucked, short of match fitness, very rusty, went missing from the game. He looked that pissed off that he was that fucked and rusty that he went for goal every time he briefly touchd the ball. Now to be fair this was only for a couple of games, and he was coming back from niggling injuries. The point i am trying to make is, i woudln't use this against stevie and say because he hasn't benn bang on from August to May he hasn't had a good season. A player having a good season can't always be judged by every game that he has played. Its the influence he has over the course that matters. Kuyt works his bollocks off every game and has scored 15 goals, whilst playing out on the right for most of the season. How anyone can disagree that he has a good season is beyond me.

It’s not a case of sorting out where your loyalties lie, it’s a case of he could have.....no he should have answered the question differently. we are not expecting him to come out and say 'I hope they all got twatted and break their fucking legs and I hope shrek gets caught sucking slur off while he gets bummed by a rabid dog' A simple 'I don’t like to see our fiercest rivals win' would suffice.

i can understand all this 'stevie is being diplomatic', but then when you think about it...... fuck that shit, they have just equalled our record of 18 titles, the last thing we want is for him to be coming out and saying he hopes they win. grow some fucking balls stevie lad, saying something like 'the rivalry we have means i don't want to see them be succesful', would be honest and the press couldnt jump on it.

all im thinking is, if he continues to play 60+ full games a season, do you reckon he can continue playing at his same level until he is 35/36? We don't want he absolutley twatted in a couple of years time.

exactally. fergie fucking loathes us as much as we loath him. he showed his class by not doing a post-match interview after the 4v1 game. If they battered us 10v0, rafa would still come out and have the decency to do a post-match interview. fergie commands respect for his success no doubt, but then he loses it by being the arrogant, ignorant twat that he is.

i said myself he over reacted. i just don't think that this one rush of blood today, should be an excuse for jumping on the bandwagon and start slating him. no player in my eyes is immune to criticsim, not even carra or stevie over the years.

also the player who was crippled with cramp but still managed to put his body on the line in istanbul. carra may have over reacted, but lets not start knocking him. he has been our stand out defender for years, this year he hasn't stood out, but i think that our style of play has put less reliance on defence this year. we have never really been under the cosh and needed carra to be divng all over the place, putting his body on the line. he is also our vice captain, so well within his rights to read the riot act to bob.

that's just rafa for you though, he aint gonna change. we just have to accept the fact he is gonna make himself look a twat now and again, rather than start slating him for it. could be worse, at least neil warnock is not our manager! or wenger, who must have denied seeing 99% of their 60 odd sending offs during his time there.:yes:

would fergie of praised us though? the bitter cunt had to slip in the fact that he thought they were better than us, when we twatted them 4v1. Yes he acknowledged the fact we pushed them hard, but he would of been less gracious then rafa, had we won it.

I've had the same debate with mancs at work. Their response is usually, how could we win it with lucas, ngog, el zhar. (not quite the same comparison) It doesn't end there though, there's evans, anderson, nani. Even more sickening. :notamused:
