1. SSN just reported Torres aout for 6 weeks after having knee surgery and Gerrard out for 2 with hamstring strain. FFS!!!!!!!!!!
2. One part of his attitude i don't like, at one point Ngog had a shot and didn't pass him the ball, Gerrard had a real go at him, thought he was a bit out of order as he seems to pick his targets, doesn't seem to do it to certain others surely his job on the pitch is to encourage and do his bollocking off it.
3. I agree mate, there is so much bollox flying round at the moment it's ridiculous.
4. Talking to a mate of mine he suggsested that as well. He also said that from a mate of a mate yadda yadda.........Rafa realises he has made a huge mistake in that Aquilani's shite. His words not mine. Bullshit i should imagine
5. When going through a bad patch you can look at it objectively and find positives, where you think...yeah we can take this forward.....but at the moment i am really struggling to find any positives, hope it ends soon, but i sadly think it will get worse before it gets better. Pre-season set the tone for me and it's just continued. I just feel numb at the moment.
6. Isn't that the one where he gives it back to the opposition for a throw in or a goal kick?
7. Top game mate, some of the best games i have ever played, some of the levels could be frustrating as fuck at times, but you did feel a certain amount of smug satisfaction when you completed them. Hope another one is coming out. The last one was deffo my favourite, but probably the easiest.
8. This has just been handed in to Greater Manchester Police, it was found in the changing rooms at O*d T******d, has the words M A love from A F inscribed on the back.
9. We all want the big one, but as has been said in the past 'This club exists to win trophies'. I would rather feel the joy of winning the League Cup than the emptiness of finishing another season empty handed, AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
10. It's no secret mate that Labour and Conservative vote together on the Authority to stop the Lib Dems putting through their ideas, it fucking stinks. McGuirk and his cronies get their payrises by forcing through these cuts. They got rid of a couple of senior officer posts a few years back (to save money) and divided the wage between them (allegedly). The deputy Chief Fire Officer gets paid more than some CFO's, madness.
11. I'll take that as a wind up, unless your another one who believes Londons Burning is real or everything they read in the press.
12. There was a one off character in Viz called: Ted Tucker - Fat Fucker, if he's not fat i'll eat my hat.
13. Not just Merseyside mate, cuts in the Fire Service are happening all over the country, warwickshire have just decided to close 1 in 3 fire stations and most have had massive budgets cuts year on year for the last 6-7 years and still the Audit Commission push for more. Firefighter jobs aren't being filled and most brigades have a freeze on recruitment. There are serious issues in the fire service at the moment and there are a large number of brigades around the country looking at industrial action. Most of the senior management are puppets of local and national government looking for the next promotion and most members of the Fire Authorities do exactly what their masters tell them. I am not against modernisation but the way we are being cut right across the country is shocking at a time when firefighter deaths are the highest they have been in 30 years. I just wonder sometimes why, that when they talk about frontline services we are never mentioned. But i feel for all public servants (and private sector workers) at the moment, yes there are a lot of arseholes who take the piss but most are decent hard working people trying to do their best whilst having their working conditions constantly eroded.
14. No idea of a way round it mate, like anything practice, practice, practice, frustrating as fuck though.
15. It's basically a WW2 flight simulation, just got this on satdee and have to say it is tremendous, i had it on the PC and it was a nightmare to control, but the conversion is spot on. It's quite easy on arcade mode but the realistic and simulation modes are much better when it comes to realism, it's really difficult to stop your plane from going into a stall. You are flying planes such as Spitfire, Hurricane, BF-109, IL2 Sturmovik and others in the Battle of Britain, Stalingrad, Battle of the Bulge, Battle for Berlin and others. It has a good intro mode where you get to learn the finer points of flying and battle. I think the graphics are pretty good and realistic. As a conversion from the PC, it is the bollocks. Well worth buying IMO.
16. Have seen this one on ebay Monster cable HDMI 1000HD Ultra-High Speed HDMI 2m UK on eBay (end time 11-Sep-09 11:55:54 BST) They are almost £90 in comet, i know with most things on ebay you are taking a chance but at this price is it worth taking that gamble?
17. I agree with your sentiments mate, it's just one of those things that would be really difficult to do in practice. I am happy with the decision i have taken and feel better for it. Hopefully there will be more like minded people, but I somehow doubt it. They are here for the foreseable, as painful as it is.
18. I've been doing it now for the last 18 months, but for every one like us, unfortunately there are 10 waiting to take our places. It's just a token gesture, G+H couldn't give a shite about any single person whether they spend their hard earned cash on the club or not.
19. Nick Tanner never won a fucking challenge all night
20. Got it today off Ormskirk for £25, more than happy.
