    *Shakes head* Everton again.

Ignoring the fact that he's playing to the gallery to get the more rabib fans onside, he's talking complete and utter bollocks. Spouts that owners should be able to put in as much as they like with no regulation but then goes on to say everyone should have paid to bail out Bury when they were left in the shit by an owner who spent recklessly and then decided he couldn't be bothered any more.
  2. Seen Dave mention the podcast in his weekly roundup and thought I'd give it a listen and then the OP posted this a day or so later so definitely thought i'd give it a go. At the end of it all he couldn't give a straight answer to why he didn't sign a new contract before 2004 (Sabbatical bollocks) and then couldn't give a straight answer to why he didn't just say no to Newcastle (despite saying he knew Real wanted to sign Ramos with the cash). Think i'll stay well away from the Suarez racism debate though.

    Liverpool 1 Shrewsbury Town 0 (Feb 4 2020)

Great report Dave. It read like you were beaming with pride as you were writing it, which helped as I was beaming with pride reading it.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

You're all going to look reeeally silly when the first £350 million cheque lands in number 10's postbox this Friday.
  5. Did someone mention a beige cardy?
  6. Their gaff can turn toxic very quickly. Good start and they'll be getting their dildos out again to throw at a crumbling Trevor Brooking in the directors box.

    Nike deal

Load of bollocks that. Don't even know why you'd waste you're time posting it... It should have the number 7 badge on the arm obviously.

    *Shakes head* Everton again.

I'm in my thirties and this is the first "big" club decision Everton have made in my entire life. Shocking and impressive in equal measure.

Only a small thing but I've enjoyed letting all the blues know that I'm getting off work at "five two" today.

    The 96

Absolutely disgusting. I know it shouldn't but it still bothers me how the rats stick together. The judge doing his very best: Duckenfield did not give evidence in the trial as the court heard he was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Judge Sir Peter Openshaw also told jurors the condition could explain Duckenfield's lack of reaction as he sat in the well of the court throughout the trial. He said: "He has a resilient, passive and expressionless external presentation which gives no indication of his state of mind so don't draw an adverse inference against him." As for the totally oblivious remarks from his defence lawyer (don't expect anything less) it all just adds up to a horrible day. A target of blame? I'd love to know what he thinks this city and our supporters have been for the last 30 years. Benjamin Myers QC, defending Duckenfield, told the jury he had been a "target of blame" for the disaster. He told the court: "We say David Duckenfield did do what he was expected to do as match commander. He didn't breach his duty, he did what he was expected to do in difficult circumstances." Summing up the case, the judge said: "The deaths of 96 spectators, many of whom were very young, is, of course, a profound human tragedy attended by much anguish and anger which for many has not passed with time."

    General Election 2019

Not sure how feasible the Broadband plan is going forward but it's really hit me how beaten down this country and the population are. There's honest and "normal" people who are up in arms that Labour would have the audacity to give it all away for free. It would be helping children across the country and also saving themselves a few quid but it's still looked at as a sickening prospect. It seems elitism is buried so deeply into the country's consciousness that there's regular people arguing the case against multi billionaires losing money.

Man City - the new bitters?

Mate, you need to do nights more often (saw it in the other thread). Quite literally laughed out loud to that.

    Naby Keita

I'm quite happy to follow Jurgen's lead with Naby. It's clear through listening to Jurgen talk about him and the fact he always tries to get him involved when available (run in last year before the Barca injury) that he defo rates in him. He hasn't been good enough for large parts yet but I do have that feeling that IF it clicks, the lad will take some stopping.
