  1. Most fans think he's a tool. It'll be pinbadge Pete next.
  2. No to Rafa. No to Woy. I'd prefer a more positive manager rather than keep it tight/attack for the last 15 mins.
  3. He has some good taste. He was on the radio recently bigging up a 1930s bmovie I adore.
  4. Rather than the players (they're not all great, but far better than they're showing) it's Roy's approach that is a large part of the problem. He threw a wobbler when a journo posed that question and asked to guy to clarify what he meant, he didn't, but I think negative approach was what he was implying.
  5. Don't see why some complain about jibes from Hicks or Mourinho. If yer that sensitive then don't dish it out in the first place.
  6. Think we own many behind the Main stand but sold those behind the Centenary to an affordable housing/regeneration project. The Kop and Anny ends have roads behind them. It's doable but I think the costs and planning issues would dissuade a new owner. If we're not careful, over time we may run out of options and give more ammunition to those pro-groundshare. SP option expires in April.
  7. Rob Jones. Never seen such a debut from a signing that was fairly low-key but sadly injuries affected his progress. Same goes for Babbel, excellent first season then afflicted by illness.
  8. They put 3,500 seats in Fenway so let's not get carried away. Apart from the Main Stand I'm not sure Anfield is feasible unless hundreds of millions is being tossed about and roads rerouted. Even if it was attempted I reckon it would be bogged down for years with the council. Commit to the new stadium and get it underway asap.
  9. You could employ a Liverpool superfan but if H&G wont accept anything less than silly money his hands are tied.
  10. Think Utd went down with Best, Macari, Greenhoff et al, mostly coz they couldn't score in a brothel. At the moment we look a team playing for a draw.
  11. Roy just doesn't seem Liverpool, wish I could explain it but sometimes people/players just don't get what the club is about.
  12. Don't think Moores wanted to sack Souness but the fans reaction to Bristol City made his position untenable.
  13. Nice piece. His memory is a tad rose-tinted on his transfers and he should maybe hold his hands up to the handling of Xabi and Crouch, but he makes Woy look a football dinosaur. Can't see him returning to LFC when even Dalglish can't get a second bite of the cherry.
  14. It's not like Fowler and the dockers as this is internal and Carra is contractually bound to publicly toe the line. I don't half the players believe the stuff they say on .tv.
  15. That's ace, except his talent is to rip off The Troggs Wild Thing and nick The Stones get off my cloud. The subject has been done by The Beat on Stand Down Margaret, Moz's Margaret On The Guillotine... right to Hefner's Day That Thatcher Died. It's makes Xfactor look original.
  16. Tbh I never liked the Wah even in the 80s.
  17. By moving into tv he's probably comparable to Alan Clarke (Scum, The Firm, Made in Britain, Elephant etc) and the social realist tv drama of the past. It would be great if he could juggle both film and television but I'd imagine he's a few films in the pipeline (think his next is a horror).
  18. Aye, really lucky. Fancy Tom Cannon being right for one.
  19. Think both Rafa and Ged dismissed 'wingers'. The trouble is they have to employ full backs who can't defend for toffee and when teams sit deep at home we often run out of ideas. Think a few now deploy a compromise of three mids and one wideish player.
  20. Not sure he's done anything apart from 'Goal', but hopefully along the way he's made a friends and has contacts. Hope he gives Stephen Graham & David Morrissey a bell too. Would love it to happen...
