Heard a rumour that David Moores has pulled out of giving him a couple of hundred thousand pound for Share Liverpool, because he is content with the ownership situation at the Club. This must have been the money Rogan was crowing about in the press last year about now having the money to underwrite a share issue, he has been very quiet recently, not like him at all!

his comments in todays Liverpool Echo are a disgrace coming from somebody who claims to speak on behalf of fans. Rogan Taylor "when Hicks and Gillett took over it was the worst day in the club's history" Now having supported Liverpool my whole life i know for a fact that in the days and weeks following both Hillsborough and Heysel that supporters of this club went through far darker times than anything we have witnessed in the past 3 years. Rogan has no excuse as he often claims to to be an expert on both, even writing a book on Hillsborough. This, coupled with the e500 for a hillsborough interview incident is not acceptable from a man who states he speaks on behalf of fans and sees himself as a spokesperson for fans. I will be making my feelings known to Share Liverpool

But when is the Trial?

Genuine question as I am hearing a few whispers. If Purslow and NESV were to come out tommorrow and announce Rogan taylor would be a fan representative for the club, how would the fans react? I find it unlikely that the fans will actualy get a say or a vote on who they want to represent them but who has Rogan taylor ever represented? he basically gathered a list of email addresses who stated they were interested in Supporter Ownership, then placed himself at the head of it without election or any communication with the fans who signed up. How can Dr. Taylor genuinely claim to represent fans?

Is there anybody on this forum who is close to him? I attended at a function last week and got chatting to a few people in attendance regarding supporter ownership. One lady who was there, she was either related to Rogan or works with him, mentioned that he had stepped down from Share Liverpool to concentrate on other work which he had on at the moment, I checked the Share Liverpool website but the lack of recent news updates on the site is a bit worrying and there was certainly no announcement regarding Rogan leaving. I signed up to Share Liverpool from the very beginning and although I did become some what annoyed by the inactivity, I was somewhat buoyed on by all the recent announcements and press coverage of the merger between Share Liverpool and Spirit of Shankly. As with any merger and acquisition of two organisations, there are bound to be people surplus to requirements, but I would have thought Rogan would be pretty instrumental. This move is somewhat bewildering and I don't really understand what is happening, I tried to contact Share Liverpool but have heard nothing. Are there any posters who could update me as to where Share Liverpool are up to or shed some light on the situation?
