  8. One of my absolute favourite artists, this video was made in Dublin and Kilkenny. I paid for the flowers, apologies to anyone who's offended by flag burning! The guy who made it is a friend of mine and very talented.
  9. I saw John Grant in Galway in March. This song is great.
  10. Early Woody Allen stand-up stuff is great, Billy Connolly in his earlier days also we saw Ardal O'Hanlon around 98 and he was brilliant.

  13. I've listened to the last three, all superb! The best one this year for me was The Free by Willy Vlautin, it's a really simple story (all his books are), read by the author.
  14. I listened to the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich last year, that was heavy going but excellent, I will definitely pick up Anthony Beever next month, thanks!
  15. I've read Mr. Mercedes, it's a good book, not one of his absolute best but definitely worth a read.
