    I just finished The Devil All Around by Donald Ray Pollock, a really good southern gothic story similar to Cormac McCarthy.

    Live from Daryl's house too, Chuck Prophet is a brilliant guitarist and singer, this version of one of his best songs is so good.

    It's such a brilliant documentary though, all the contributions, even the slightly bitter ones like Dave Van Ronk and Joan Baez had to acknowledge his genius. I loved the piece on the Clancy Brothers too.

    This is now showing on Sky Comedy, we're halfway through Season 4 it's absolutely brilliant.

    Sad news, Justin Townes Earle (son of the great Steve) passed away aged 38. I saw him live in 2013 in Whelans, a really talented guy.
