  1. The same character as Kinky John in "The Club" fmp8cLu7UWI
  2. Parking wise, if you venture into the residential estate within a one mile radius of the ground you'll find something provided you're there early enough. Pubwise there's not much near to the ground - There's the Garner's Arms is just past Sainsbury's as you walk away from the ground, but it's not particularly big and full of North Enders. You can walk it from town, only about 20 minutes.
  3. 1942, 1942 I invented the flu Which grew and grew and grew I apologise to you Aachooo Have a tissue
  4. Yes. Every little bit of money you can give us helps our conscience-free crusade to take over the world.
  5. This is a great policy actually. I have a few small groups and they very rarely cross paths.
  6. I know, it's what I like to call an aggressive agreement.
  7. I reckon Schwarzer is in the top ten golaies in the league. Worst keeper over the past two years must have been Carson. Form for Villa, WBA and England has been atrocious.
  8. To be honest they're not catchphrases, they are slogans dreamt up by ruthless media sales fuckers who have probably never set foot outside of London and spend £300 on Gym membership a month. "We live electricals" doesn't make any sense at all... and I guess that's why they thought of it, just to add to the never ending downward spiral of ignorance and stupidness of the proletariat with the sole intention of making money out of them. It is code for "buy this electrical appliance you thick fuck."
  9. That's going to be quoted on the back page of my autobiography.
  10. Had a mate at university who went to school with her and the daughter of a famous mid 1990s Sheffield-based f**tball player. He said they slept around a lot. No surprise, she's as fit as a fiddle. Also, how are people still fooled by them? They are on TV every night these days it is impossible not to recognise them.
  11. He's moving to Stoke apparently. Shit for shit.
  12. Yates'/Revolutions maybe. Can't see Wetherspoons or Scream going down, always full my way.
  13. Just have a wank over her and try to forget her. Some good advice and analogies on this thread, take note Newman.
  14. Ryman Stationery (formerly Partners) and WHSmiths are totally obselete. Game (always empty compared to Gamestation) might go under as they charge so much. One of the book retailers such as Webberleys/Waterstones/Blackwells has got to go. Too much of a monopoly there. Same goes for Burtons/Next/Topman.
  15. Factually incorrect, but still very funny.
  16. May I say that Griffin proved my point perfectly at the weekend. Pub league player. *Blows own trumpet*
  17. He's starring in Ché - six hour Steven Soderbergh biopic - due for release ina couple of weeks. Should be pretty good viewing that.
  18. Right midfield attacking player. Srna and Kuba both linked, I'd gladly take either. Reckon Srna would be cheaper though and arguably fit into the side better. I'd take Owen or Heskey as a backup striker along with a full back. We all know who's going. The Doss and Pennant being the main culprits.
  19. What a shit year he's had there. Must have won about seven games in 13 months.
  20. I know what you mean Section. Every town centre has the same shops. Independent stores don't exist anymore. It is the same with pubs, restaurants and even newsagents now. Only the big, big chains will exist in 30 years time, probably in retail parks 20 minutes drive from the town centre. Regarding Woolworths, it has been completely obselete for 15 years now. In my youth I would buy all of my music from there. They have probably been borrowing money on a massive scale for the past decade and that luxury has now gone. For one foolish second at the beginning of this financial bullshit, I dared to think it would mean the government could look at the way it has allowed the homogeny of chains to thrive and town centre culture stagnate and reverse the damage done. No. Tesco will probably swallow up all of the empty Woolworths retail stores as they attempt to take over the retail world with no concerted attempt from anybody to stop them. Very sad.
  21. What I meant was it was as good as a win for them...
  22. Sturridge wins it for City with a class finish and a great ball for Robinho.
  23. 'Castle were booing when YNWA was being sung today, but they are shit fans. Just caught the Blackburn fans singing "You're the shit of Manchester" at City. Straight after giving Hughes a standing ovation. Strange.
  24. They've still got to host Chelsea before those games though, in a fortnight. At the moment I'd take that as a 0-0, After though, they have some games against shite teams I can't see them slipping up in. Never know though.
  25. Some good results today. Obviously Fulham's last minte equaliser was great after our result. I'd love Boro to take some points off the mancs tomorrow to top it off. Long way to go yet though at the top of the table. West Ham beating Stoke was also a good one. Fucking hate Stoke.
