I did a stadium tour in February last year and the heaters are built in to the roof - was absolutely roasting under them. Roberts is a decent keeper who could defo do a job for Tranmere. I'm always biased in thinking that our kids are good enough for league football when they leave us. Well most of them anyway. Looks like they're edging on the side of caution with the three outfield players given a third year. Huge year for them really now no surprise in the three moved to Melwood in reality - Spearing already had that year anyway based on an early interview with him.

I did say i might be a bit harsh including Djimi My reckoning was home many times he had to get in to that recovery position. Yes he had pace but the reactions to need to get back in there is where I was coming from. ie the game passed hi too quickly forcing him in to last ditchers.

Perhaps this is a French thing or then again it could be a premiership thing. But getting players adapting to the English game is a major thing. With the four Frenchies that spring to mind none fully got to grips with the pace. Djimi - maybe a bit harsh given how long he's lasted but sometimes the pace seemed to stun him a bit. Cheyrou - well apart from the go slow mud inside his shiny white boots he just couldn't do pace. I wouldn't mind but when we bought him we all saw this player bombing from midfield Diomede - never seemed at ease with the pace of the game at all - coupled with being shite didn't help Ferri - hmmmmmmmmm what was the point in him no sign off here :)

I've heard the rumour of a price freeze but nothing concrete over it I do know the corporate ones (premier club etc) are going up but as yet they haven't announced a figure increase. My guess is the club can't cope with renewals and Athens so will wait to see if we win and then hike em up
