Happy days . I was 10 for my first game-boys pen. Used to go on the Kop when I got to 15 stood just above the goal on the right looking onto the pitch. Then worked away from age 17 until I was 22 so could only get home for the odd match until 76 when I became a regular until leaving the country in 82. Loved the all standing Kop.

1955! My mam came from a big family in Norris Green mostly reds with a couple of blues. My dad only had 1 brother a blue and a sister a red. I remember the whole family cheering on the reds at Wembley in 65 and the blues the following year. Sad it doesn’t happen any more.

Fuck I think I have found someone older than me on here. I was a blue at the age of four cos my grandad ( a real gent) supported them. This all changed when I realised my dad was a red at the age of 6. Never waivered after that even in the years of the “golden vision”. Also proud to say I never ever dated a blue.
