Isak is a much better player than Darwin and went for a similar amount in the same window, I think Newcastle sealed the deal for him quite early though, don’t think we were seriously interested. He does get injured more than Darwin I guess.

Huge season for him next time out. Has it all to do to impress the new manager. Last night when Jones played him clean through, it barely even registered how bad the finish was, I knew he wasn’t scoring that in a million years.

It’s not even really that difficult to figure out Twatalanta’s game plan here, they keep everyone narrow as fuck and press like madmen as soon as the ball goes central. So what do we do, set up with two narrow slow wingers, tell the right back to move into centre mid in possession, and stick a completely rusty Tsimikas at left back. Stick Szoboszlai on the right and get Robertson on for Tsimikas, we’ll look way better.

Just lacking that wee bit of absolutely fucking everything.
