  2. This is the same problem in Roy. Only in his case, he tries to quicken up the arrival by his weird head banging!!!
  3. I reckon Roy Keane was pissed when his book was in the making...
  4. Check out the site sackpardew.com SackPardew.com are now in a position to announce finalised plans for a large-scale protest at St. James’ Park this Saturday afternoon, during Newcastle United’s home match with Hull City. The aim of this is to display a united front against Alan Pardew and the current malaise at the club, for which we believe he has not assumed an acceptable level of responsibility. As a result: - We are protesting against his increasingly poor results over the past two years. - We are protesting against his deceit and empty promises. - We are protesting against his mismanagement of the club and the playing staff. - We are protesting against his misrepresentation of our hopes and expectations. - We are protesting against his decision to continue on in what is now an untenable position. We have 30,000 A4 sheets with “SackPardew.com” in red and blue text on a white background, plus 100 larger banners adorned with our black and white logo, all of which come complete with fire certifications and can be collected for free in Newcastle city centre on the day of the game. The materials have primarily been funded by member donations, but also by the generous contributions of fellow supporters since our website detailing Pardew’s abysmal quotes and statistics went live a week ago, including an enormous 20,000 sheet donation from the good people at Print North East. Hopefully this will go some way to showing what a group of like-minded fans can achieve when focusing on a common goal and putting issues ahead of personalities. Thanks to the cooperation of various city centre establishments we are delighted to announce that we have secured indoor locations at Central Station, The Gate, Haymarket and St. James’ in order to facilitate distribution to as many fans as possible between 12pm and 2.30pm. We have also hired a professional promotional company for footpath distribution at key hotspots in the city between 1pm and 2pm and around the stadium between 2pm and 3pm. A full list of participating venues and locations, including further information on times, can be found below. We must make it clear that these establishments do not necessarily support our stance but that they believe in freedom of speech and the right to protest peacefully in public, which are absolute cornerstones of our campaign. All they have asked for in return is that we cause no disruption to their businesses and allow their regular customers to enjoy their pre-match experience as they normally would, which makes it imperative that all demonstrations are peaceful and confined to the stadium. Furthermore, we implore all like-minded supporters that wish to help us attain our objective to uphold these same principles, and to remember that we are representing not only our beloved club, but also our great city, and that the eyes of the footballing world will be upon us. There can be no repeat of what has gone before and this must be protesting done in a new way when it comes to NUFC, with no figurehead, no self-publication and no civil disorder of any kind. Once in possession of banners and/or cards, we suggest that supporters proceed as normal into St. James’ Park for a unified display throughout the 5th minute, to highlight Pardew’s unacceptable record of just 5 wins in 2014. However, should individuals wish to unfurl their banners and/or hold up their cards pre-match and at other points during play we would fully support that as well (just watch out for John Carver). Ultimately we must still support the team, just as we did for the 3-0 victory over Cardiff in the final home game of last season. The good work done by fellow fan groups that day proved that a balance could be struck between protest and support, highlighted by Vurnon Anita, who stated that “the atmosphere wasn’t difficult for us” in his post-match interview. We possess written confirmation from the club that inoffensive banners aimed at managerial figures are permitted, although we fully understand if you wish to conceal them prior to entry. It is also important to state that club stewards have no power to seize inoffensive banners and no power to manhandle supporters in any way, unless said supporter is committing an offence. Once you are inside there is nothing they can do to stop you being a part of the protest. If you come under any distress due to the actions of a club employee, feel free to film them if you believe they are acting outside of their remit, before passing the footage on to the relevant authorities. If you do not support the campaign, or feel that you cannot support the campaign, then we simply ask that you allow us to protest in peace. Conversely, we ask that all supporters who do not wish to protest are not goaded or harassed by those who do. Divisions and in-fighting will only tarnish all of us and play into the club’s hands. Whether you agree with our stance or not, the protest will happen and everyone must be allowed to express their opinions. Problems between fellow supporters inside the ground are likely to vindicate any club decision to block future demonstrations of this nature, and some of those may be intended for a cause that you do want to back. It is in all of our interests that this proceeds without incident. While it is ultimately sad that we, as a collective of Newcastle supporters, yet again have to go down this road we feel we have no alternative as long as Alan Pardew is still employed as manager of Newcastle United Football Club. His startling ineptitude and constant deceit has been left unchallenged for too long, with performances once again tumbling to an embarrassing level on the evidence of our latest display at Southampton. It is our firm opinion that it is not a question of IF but a matter of WHEN change comes and our aim is for it to be sooner rather than later. As fans we will all be here longer than anyone currently connected with the club. We are willing to carry on our efforts far beyond this game if necessary. Howay the lads! Pride. Passion. Belief. Three fundamental elements that all supporters require to unite behind their team. The fans will always bring passion, but the club and the manager must enable them to be proud and to believe through their actions and words. This is why Alan Pardew is not the correct man to take Newcastle United forward. He cannot make us proud or make us believe that he can take this great football club in the right direction. There have been far too many unsavoury incidents, contradictory statements and disastrous results for his tenure to continue unchallenged. This site documents his failures as a manager and will continue to highlight them until there is a change. We call upon Mike Ashley to remove Alan Pardew from his post and to appoint a suitable candidate based on merit, in an open and transparent manner, as soon as possible. We will use all methods at our disposal to see this come to pass. Why sack Pardew? It’s all here in black and white…
  5. Highlights: http://www.101greatgoals.com/goals/champions-league/liverpool-u19-4-ludogorets-u19-0-reds-start-the-uefa-youth-league-with-a-win-highlights/
  6. The opposition team: Simeonov, Mihalyov, Kerchev,A. Georgiev, Dzhamov, Dimitrov, Kitov, Tsvyatkov, Lyubomirov, Aleksandrov and Antonov Sorry I do not have the subs team list :D
  7. I would add Kent and there are high hopes for Brannagan, Canos and Chirivella.
  8. I agree with you and I cant wait to see Lallana playing for us. Even before we were linked with him , a lot of us agreed he was the perfect "Rodgers" player. If the stat about him having been dispossessed a lot of times is true and Rodgers has paid attention to it, he might make him start behind Balotelli in which case we dont get punished through Villa's counter attacks (which is their strongest point). We are 3 points better off from last season if we looked at the fixtures so to get a win against Villa would improve that even further.
  9. Athletico Madrid are the cause for Athletico de kolkata btw and the owner saurav ganguly is an athletico fan. he was at the cl final too
  10. Am from India and I have absolutely no interest in Indian Super League. No offence but it consists of footballers who are old and for someone like me whos a fan of the best league in the world (pun intended) the action will be real slow. On another hand, cricket will always remain the foremost sport here and I don't see any hype over ISL like we saw for IPL here. The marketing too seems to be minimal considering that this is only a month away and I don't see anyone who are all fans of football discuss about the same. Don't get me wrong. I would love to see cricket take a backseat sometime because there are way too many matches but I dont see any other sport occupying that spot soon
  11. Markovic against France https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOzM8gkyKTo&feature=youtu.be Edit: Music is terrible. Mute and watch
  12. Think suarez and balotelli together would have been awesome. imagine the 2 in the same side.
  13. https://www.facebook.com/LFC.ARMY.FC/photos/a.171780587237.149274.163578457237/10152714330982238/?type=1 He's done it again!
  14. His wages are rumoured to be 190k per week. He'll improve the scum but not to the level that the fear factor will return
  15. we also got 20 million from him including the loan fee and it was not like we paid 35 from our pocket, Chelsea paid for us.
  16. Balotelli reaches agreement with Liverpool, he will take off for England soon, then the medical (Gianluca Di Marzio)
  17. Tim Sherwood has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant manager's role at Crystal Palace. The former Tottenham boss was the leading candidate to succeed Tony Pulis at Selhurst Park after Palace's initial top target Malky Mackay was removed from their shortlist. But Sky Sports News HQ presenter Jim White has revealed he has spoken personally to Sherwood, who confirmed the Palace job was "not the right fit" for him currently. "His representative has contacted Palace co-chairman Steve Parish to tell him just that, so Parish now knows that Sherwood has dropped out of the race.White reported: "I've spoken to Tim Sherwood, who is in Spain at the moment, and he has told me that, after some careful consideration, he no longer wants to be considered as a candidate for the vacant manager's job at Crystal Palace. "Sherwood told me: 'I wish them well with the hunt for a new manager, but it is not the right fit for me at this time. Crystal Palace is a great club with a great tradition, but they’re in a difficult situation which was unforeseen.' "Sherwood thanked Parish for granting him an interview last weekend, and he felt the interview went very well, but he no longer wishes to be considered for the job." It is claimed that he and Iain Moody exchanged "disrespectful" messages, and the revelations have led to Moody resigning as Palace's sporting director. The news is the latest blow for Palace, who looked set to appoint Mackay until it emerged he was being investigated by the Football Association over allegations he sent homophobic and sexist text messages while manager at Cardiff. A statement issued by the League Managers' Association revealed that Mackay has denied the allegations, and that he will co-operate fully with the FA probe. With Sherwood now out of the running to replace Pulis, Neil Lennon is now the favourite with Sky Bet to become the new Palace manager while Steve Clarke and Martin Jol are believed to be among the other candidates in the frame.
  18. Absolutely on board ! If our rivals let out a sigh of relief at Suarez going, they are going to be back worrying about us. He's a great finisher and is strong and also gives us an option on freekicks because after Suarez going, we were not sure who could do better than StevieG.
